Incredible staff and hotel for HOCR! We stayed at the Courtyard for the Head of the Charles Regatta at Harvard. It is the perfect location as it is right on the river, and about a 20 minute walk along the river path to get there. Our room had a lovely view of the river and the boats, with lots of natural light. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shout out to Shaon as he went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! He deserves a major kudos! Thank you!! Daley (sp) and Sandra were super kind and helpful as well as the manager of housekeeping, who we met in the hall. There were two other associates who responded to my requests at night that were so nice (I’m sorry I didn’t get their names). I would highly recommend this hotel as it is away from the crowds and in a quiet location, but still on the river. The main draw, however, are the wonderful employees who really made our stay fantastic! Thank you all!

Friendly Breakfast Hosts! I want to give KUDOS to your breakfast hosts, Maria and Miguel. They're both very friendly and show great hospitality. They welcome me with a cheerful smile every morning. Being in the hospitality industry, I am big on these small little moments. Your genuine care, attention to detail, and commitment to making every guest feel special is what transforms a good hotel into an extraordinary one. Looking forward to seeing you every morning during my stay!

Amazing employees! The front desk staff makes the hotel worth it! I stayed for 3 nights and each night I was greeted with a warm and friendly face. They were so helpful when I had an issue with my AC getting the issue resolved with 30 mins. I tend to forget my room keys often. Each time (there was more than one) I asked for a new key, they smiled and reassured me it was no trouble. Even the housekeepers were lovely. I was greeted with a smile and “good morning” as I left my room one morning. 10/10 recommend!!

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price The hotel is conveniently located near colleges, but it’s definitely not worth the steep price—certainly not under $200 per night as advertised. We paid over $600 for a single night in a king room, which was incredibly dated, smelled of mold (thankfully the window opened), and had a poorly cleaned bathroom with hair and stains on the walls and counter. I always travel with disinfectant wipes, but at this price point, I shouldn't have to use them. Check-in staff were pleasant and professional—I'd give 5 stars for their service alone. Unfortunately, a different shift at the front desk was noticeably less helpful and seemed unfamiliar with basic procedures. Dining options were disappointing. The Japanese Steakhouse closes at 9:00 PM, and the bistro/café (open from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM) offered low-quality food. Bacon was see-through, sausage rubbery, and no custom orders allowed. Staff in the café were unfriendly, and food was not kept fresh. On the plus side, the AC worked well, they offer a conference room, laundry facilities, and free coffee in the lobby when available. But those amenities don’t justify the outrageous price for such a subpar experience. Would not stay again. Would you like me to format this for a specific review site (e.g., TripAdvisor, Google, Yelp)?

Stay OK but predatory policy The one star is for the predatory $32 they charge for a "coupon" that can only be redeemed at a rundown smelly Japanese restaurant on the premises. It is a one time use or lose it thing and is charged without your consent. Shame on Marriott for allowing this fleecing to happen. Class action anyone?
