Hope the owners find a new and profomanager My grandson and I often take a break and visit local hotels that have a pool so that he can enjoy his love of the water . We booked a room at this Comfort Inn because we were also visiting Tellus Museum nearby. When we enter the reception area, there were 2 women sitting behind the desk.Neither looked up from a phone or stopped their laughter/personal conversation with each other to even acknowledge us until I said hello. At that point I introduced myself and told her that we had a reservation . She looked on her computer briefly and told me that their policy does not allow for guests that live within 50 miles . I was surprised since I didn’t see anything about this on the site and had never encountered this situation before . I asked if she could please make the exception because my grandson was looking forward to swimming .She didn’t even look up when she said nope, sorry .Ifelt sh gained satisfaction from this somehow . This room was 150 or so but rather than maintaining the great impression and relationship I’ve always enjoyed with Comfort Inn and Suites, she and her friend seemed happy to give that reputation a black eye .

It's attitude. I can understand poor conditions when under duress, but not bad attitude to customers. Nice room except for it was in poor shape. .( (NOTE): THERE were renovations taking place. ) Toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Breakfast was 30 minutes from end time, but supplies were scant. No spoons, had to ask for more pancake batter. Tables not being cleaned. Attendant was uncaring. I had to go to the office 3 times for supplies. And he looked at his phone to see if he could tell me it was past closing time. It wasn't. Very surly attitude. That's what leaves me with the bad taste. Poor attitude.

Comfy beds, that is all…… Pros: *We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 queen suite Room 116. The ceilings are high, the beds and pillows were comfy, the room was quiet and dark. *The bathroom had some attempt at freshening up but was not complete. *Easy on, easy off from I-75S Cons: *The living portion of the suite is noisy as it is right across the hall from the ice/vending area and just down the hall from the indoor pool. *the warning of construction ongoing did not prepare us for no ceiling/exposed insulation in the breakfast eating area. There was no tv in the breakfast area but wires for hookup and wall mount were present. *Speaking of breakfast….don’t bother. During the last hour of breakfast service, the area was not replenished/maintained/cleaned until breakfast service was over. The “hot” water for making tea was barely lukewarm. For the price,$222.40, I certainly expected better for my 14 hour stay.

Okay for an Overnight I specifically looked for a Comfort Inn because I had a wonderful experience at the one I stayed in going down to Florida. This one however didn’t compare as well. First I’ll say, it was very clean and rooms were nice. That’s where the satisfaction ended. I wasn’t happy with location and there weren’t many options for delivery. Front desk gave me a list of restaurants that would deliver. The pizza place I called wasn’t close by so they charged a lot for the delivery. The food was so-so and the order was wrong. The breakfast area was not kept stocked. Pineapple juice was mostly watered down. There were a little bit of cold eggs and I waited 20 minutes for them to bring out more. There were biscuits but they didn’t bring out gravy until I was getting ready to leave. No bacon or sausage. Front desk was not friendly at all.
