Be careful in Texas Not a great hotel. Staff unhelpful Called location several hours before I arrived to confirm my room, line was busy for several hours. When I arrived later that night, Desk clerk on personal call. Assigned me a room in a cut where there was a storage room next door which was left opened. Safety issue for me. Where my room was located, this was extremely difficult for me to not investigate. Once I realized this storage room was unlocked, I locked the door. When I mentioned to staff, they has no idea there storage room was opened. This situation could ended up badly.

Dishonest staff Stay away from this place. The #1 thing wrong is the staff is dishonest about the quality of the room. The AC didn’t work everywhere. The toilet in the room ran constantly. They had workers spray painting as you walk by. The fridge was loud. Ice machines didn’t work. Their cleaning crew was working at 11 pm with their small children in tow! That itself is shady. Definitely go somewhere else.

Finish the remodel or post it for people to know They should put on their website it is being remodeled. Rooms are nicely redone . Looks like working on other floors. What made me give it a 3 is the POOL. It was nasty and no closed sign on the door . The staff I encountered were pleasant. Breakfast was average things . I do think it is great they have small muffins so not waste of food .

Cockroaches!!! This may be the worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. The first night we were there, a cockroach ran across my daughter's pillow/nose and woke her up just as she was falling asleep. The following day I found one in the bathtub. I notified the front desk and they sprayed my room while I was out that day. I'm sure it's reasonably safe but I didn't love the idea of them treating the room I'm living in for cockroaches .The hot water was broken which they did eventually fix but not in time for me to actually get a hot shower. The TV remote turned on the television and adjusted the volume but I could not change the channel. The front desk advised me to try a couple of things but all we could watch was Sponge Bob Square Pants on Nick. The room in general was not clean. The carpet looked stained and dirty. The walls are so thin you can hear all your neighbors. I could hear them snore, their alarms, and one night my neighbors were so loud they woke me up at 2 am (despite the "no parties" agreement we signed at check-in). After calling the front desk several times and getting no answer, I handled it myself. I didn't dare to try the breakfast after learning of the roaches. The complimentary toiletries were a random mixed of brands, not matching. While this is technically not a bad thing, it's just strange and typical of the quality of the stay/service. There was also an overpowering smell throughout the building (cleaner perhaps) that permeated all my things. The day they treated my room for bugs the front desk did bring us up some complimentary drinks and snacks, which was nice of her. I think she was just being a decent person, not indicative of the overall quality of management at this establishment.
