My Pancake Heaven No, I've never needed to stay here, but every time I visit, their pancakes knock me out! They've changed menus, but - if you ask - you can still get the Eggs Benedict pancake...recommended! Always courteous, quick and tasty.

Good value hotel, convenient to downtown Chose this hotel based on its location and price. There was nothing that stood out as impressive about it but it did not disappoint either. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and had a small fridge, microwave, flat TV, and coffeemaker. The curtains were thick enough to block light, which I appreciate. I had requested a room with river view since it was offered as a choice and although I could technically see the river, past the parking lot/street and between the trees, it wasn't really a noticeable feature. We didn't have time to use the fitness center or pool but they looked pretty basic. The fitness room was narrow and had 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical and a couple of weight machines. The pool looked clean and there was also a small hot tub. They did not offer any sort of continental breakfast but did give a coupon for 20% off breakfast at the attached restaurant. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. It was really good! It was nice to have such a convenient place to go to eat!

not fancy, but a great place to stay downtown This is an older hotel, so not as swanky as some, but the location to downtown is good, the rooms were clean, quiet & the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant was great--good food at great prices.

Clean Comfortable Room We were traveling with two small dogs and this is a pet friendly hotel. Helpful front desk staff. Comfortable pillows and bed. They do not have a complimentary breakfast but do have a restaurant on site and provide a discount coupon. They also offer coffee in lobby which I appreciated.

A "good enough" hotel This isn't a bad hotel. The room was clean and the facility was sufficient: it's not a Hilton but it isn't a Super 8 either. There's a restaurant in the hotel--a sports bar & grill type place that was having a motorcycle drawing/giveaway that day. The thing about this hotel is the location. It is close to the downtown but it is still a long walk across the river (on busy bridges) to the downtown. There didn't seem to be much within easy walking distance. I would have walked to the downtown except for the forecast of a thunder storm, which did roll in at 8 p.m. No breakfast (but a bowl full of apples and oranges in the lobby). Not *great* value at $100+/night in the summer, but not intolerable either, because it was clean and comfortable.
