Okay for a night stay We stayed in Room 202 with a suite and sofa bed. The tv in the room was only 32" (my kitchen tv is bigger than that) and the remote didn't turn the tv on and off or adjust the volume, you had to get up and physically turn the tv off. It did change channels, but that was it. My parent's room had a much larger tv and the remote turned it off and on and adjusted the volume. Otherwise, the room and rate were okay for our stay.

Nice Room, Good Location Room was clean & hotel was quiet. We were in room 100, which faced the highway, but again no issues with noise. Location was easy on and off Hwy 380. Breakfast was standard Choice Hotel items. Well light parking lot. I'd probably stay here again if in the Cedar Rapids area.

Dog friendly stop We stayed one night with our dog on a road trip to South. It was not the greatest experience. The hotel has signs on the road to get to it, which was helpful as I think it would be easy to miss otherwise. The hotel is dog friendly, and we had our pup. There were not a lot of good places to walk but there was some grass. The hotel was super loud. We could hear the people above every move. The room next to us kept playing super loud music and waking us up. There is lots of hot water, but overall, not a lot of sleep for us.

Worst layover experience ever After a 6 hour delay/cancelation at the airport, we had to make a decision to stay the night with a very early am re-booked flight. Nobody answered the 24/7 shuttle phone and we had to take a taxi ($30) for 2 mile drive. There problem was one poor young lady running the whole front desk and shuttle. My first room had a toilet that wouldn't stop running, TV with no service and a very loud couple in adjacent room having loud sex! OMG. Was able to change rooms and eat cold cereal, banana and popcorn for dinner lol. It was so sad, my co-worker and I just laughed vs. crying. And, they charged us at $107. At least they did run the shuttle at 4:30am for another "fun" day of another delay and 13 hour day at CID.

Beautiful property ruined by sucky service I was initially very impressed. The property is beautiful and very clean. They also had an awesome breakfast. Unfortunately I left some items behind during my visit. When I went to speak to the from desk, the from desk person seemed like they didn’t know where the lost and found was. He took my information and told me he’d reach back out. The same day I call during my lunch hour hoping to speak to housekeeping. I called 3 times and no one ever picked up the phone. I called corporate and they were also unable to reach them. Corporate created me a case and told me the hotel should be back in touch within 24 hours (spoiler alert they didn’t) Finally after a second call with corporate they were able to reach the hotel and “confirm” my items were “not found”. I would have gone back to the hotel for the property but the staffing is too difficult to communicate with. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here
