Reasonable place to stay Ok hotel for the money. Had to stay there while I had my home painted and the staff was helpful and friendly. Good location for restaurants and other shopping. Rooms are decent size. Shower only no tub. Seems like a safe area and can walk to 2 different restaurants and one breakfast place.

Good location, courteous staff, could been 3.4-4 stars Great location, easy access, good restaurants around. Rates were very affordable and this place is also pet friendly for and additional fee. I believe $75.00 per stay Overall decent stay, especially that is pet friendly so you can stay with your fury friends but had some issues. It could’ve been 3.5-4 At the time of check in. I had to go back to the front desk 2 times until the front desk clerk assigned me another room. They charge you a parking fee when there is plenty of parking space and it is is unusual to get charged for parking in Phoenix. The bed was very hard and for my liking. I usually like a comfortable bed. The other issue I had is that the trash cans around the hotel were overflowing all they. It looked bad and smelled. Especially the ones upfront. Overall a decent stay. Maybe they need a little more detail and maintenance.

HIdden Charges I booked this stay through Expedia and this may have been the issue. I usually stay at the Drury just a mile over on Warner but decided to give this place a try. I saved about $20. I have stayed at their Flagstaff location and it was lovely. I was shocked that they charge to park and although they was charged $6 for a bowl of cereal through Expedia it was never communicated to the hotel. For $20 more I could have had drinks, dinner and full-on hot breakfast the next morning.

If I could it would be 3.5 We have never stayed at a Sonesta Select brand hotel before but when planning this trip, bring near Spring Break timing, hotel prices were astronomical with the exception of this location. Their pricing was more reasonable and typical of a stay (avg $192) versus others at $300-$400/night. We stayed Tuesday-Thursday, arriving in the early evening Tuesday. As soon as we walked in we noticed a fragrance… not sure if it is an air freshener or what, and although it wasn’t terrible, it was definitely not pleasing to me anyhow. It lingered throughout the entry, lobby and as far as the elevator bank, and I was grateful it didn’t reach the third floor where we were staying. We had requested a courtyard/pool view room and that is what we had, although the view from our balcony was a tree. The balcony is small but it’s nice to have that space in the open air and we sat out there to enjoy coffee in the morning and to read in the afternoon when we weren’t out. The room had a king bed, comfortable and we slept well. The shower was nice (pressure & temperature) and the towels were very, very plush and soft. The sink counter area has some space for toiletries (enough for our basics - toothpaste, brush, deodorant, toothbrush…). There is a nice closet space but minimal drawer storage underneath the desk area. There is a small cafe in the lobby which we did not visit, but options seemed very limited for breakfast, so we went next door to Bisbee Breakfast Club (recommend!) the lobby area is spacious with lots of seating areas and was nice (except for that smell). The pool area and courtyard was nice although the cushions could use some TLC. There are a few seating areas and covered areas for groups to gather and visit and the pool is fenced off on one side. Overall fair pricing, staff was good, rooms were good, an average good experience all around.

Good hotel just not for us I'm starting this by saying that the customer service was fantastic and has nothing to do with why we won't stay at one again and I'm a customer service critic. Don't be in a customer service position if you don't want to provide a great experience for your customer! The main reason we won't stay at one again is because the king bed was way too hard for our liking. We both live with conditions that causes severe pain so we need softer beds. These definitely are not that. This bed caused my hips to start hurting within 30mins of laying on my side. I actually slept on the hideaway bed bc it was softer which btw was the best one I've ever slept on! No ridiculous bar in your back all not and it was long enough. I'm 6' and my feet didn't touch the end. I still had a couple more inches left. I could have had another 6" if needed by removing the pillows at the head of the bed so kudos for that! More hotels need to follow suit if they haven't already! 2nd reason is bc of the room setup. It is all wrong and doesn't accommodate to people with disabilities and people with neck problems in particular. My husband has Ankylosis Spondylitis, a condition that fuses your vertebrae together so having to constantly look to the right when you want to lay in bed creates a lot of pain and actually caused my husband to get a migraine. The TV should be placed across from the bed, parallel walls not perpendicular. 3rd reason is bc the of noise. You could hear everything from the halls and up above us. Whomever it was decided they needed to get their steps in.. 7 stomping paces one way, turnaround, 7 stomping paces back over and over and over, for 3 solid hours actually. That's when we decided to call the front desk who called the customer to tell them to stop. Sadly they had to do it twice. The location is fantastic tho! Any kind of crave you have can be satisfied which is wonderful when you can't make up your mind or have the munchies! We landed on burgers from Longhorn Steakhouse and dessert from Cheesecake Factory. All in all, it was fine for an overnight stay for us. If we weren't all medically messed up, I'm sure the beds would have been fine. I've actually slept on harder. I'm also sure that the room would be acceptable for someone who isn't noise sensitive and doesn't suffer from insomnia.
