Ok Stay The hotel had a weird set up. The main lobby wasn't really connected to the rest of the hotel. Like it was but you had to exit the building to get to the staircase or elevator or first floor rooms. The stairwell smelled heavily of pot like someone was smoking in the stairwell. Other than that the hotel was a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It wasn't dirty but it wasn't anything special either. There didn't appear to be any seating area for breakfast so we just grabbed breakfast elsewhere.

Poor night's sleep due to smoke alarm going off under suspicious circumstances The hotel was clean and quiet. We were on the third floor, where there was a strong smell of ethnic cooking each day. (We stayed for two nights.) This seemed to come from the suite that is three times the size of a regular room, according to the room map. At 9:45 on our second night, the smoke alarm went off, then was silenced a minute or so later. The cooking odor was particularly strong at this time. I walked down the stairs to the reception desk, as no all-clear was given: the clerk told me that someone had been smoking in a room. The next morning, two pristine cigarettes were on the stairs: the cigarettes had not been there the night before. When my husband checked us out, the clerk told him that the problem had been that someone burned popcorn in the microwave oven. There was no odor of burned popcorn. Draw your own conclusions. We won't stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in Charlottesville I stayed in Room 317 at this amazing hotel from April 14 to April 21. This hotel is very clean, very well managed and very well maintained. The property was recently renovated and the rooms are gorgeous. The furniture is excellent and I loved the large flatscreen TV in my room. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job cleaning my room on a daily basis and they also kept all the common areas looking extremely clean. I am looking forward to staying at this hotel again in the near future since this is a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service.

New construction and very clean Very good location, near lots of restaurants, gas and grocery. Has wifi, fridge, microwave, tv, hair dryer and even coffee maker inside the room. Area is safe and most of all, very affordable. The best super 8 by far. I recommend to improve their grab - n - go breakfast, when i was there is sugary and highly processed. They should at least place a sandwich, maybe a tuna, ham n cheese or PJ.
