We will stay here again. Great place to stay. We found it to be very clean, spacious rooms, refrigerator, nice size bathroom. And friendly staff. But I’m a say out of all of the Holiday Inn that we’ve stayed in during this pandemic this is been the worst breakfast.. we got a cup of fruit a cup of orange juice and a bottled water..That is the only reason we gave it a rating of four instead of five. If breakfast is nothing to you, then by all means this is your hotel to stay at.

kinda disappointed The hotel was easy to find. Check in was quick and we got the room we requested. The room appeared clean and well set up. after driving over 600 miles all I wanted was dinner and a bed, so we didn't poke around too much until later... to my regret. we did briefly hit the gym after eating. The gym was well set up if somewhat cramped. Not really enough room to use the weight bench with the other machines in there. The pool appeared clean, but there were a bunch of kids using it so we skipped that. There was no hot tub. The bed was old and saggy in the middle. not very comfortable. I had kept some leftovers from dinner to heat up later. Unfortunately i found out the microwave was missing. there was a shelf above the coat rack which i think had held the microwave because there was a hole cut in the back for a power cord. there was also crud and some loose change laying there. obviously not cleaned. The air conditioner did not appear to be working at first. The fan went on, but no cold air. This was not really necessary since it was February, but I like a cool room. It did get down to maybe 68. I did notice the power cord looped around which was a tripping hazard and an old piece of 2x4 lumber holding up the air conditioner unit. all that was missing was duct tape. There were some outlets, but no USB ports anywhere. I had to dig up my phone charger. The TV worked well The bathroom was clean and lighting was good. I always use the stairs instead of the elevator. I noticed the smoke detector in the stairwell was beeping due to a low battery maybe? I informed the desk clerk, but it was still beeping the next morning. I think a hotel with 200 or so guests would pay more attention to this. the hotel was pretty quiet, but there was a lot of highway noise from trucks using Jake brakes. request a room opposite the highway if you don't care about the mountain view. breakfast was just a muffin, yogurt, and a little container of juice. Holiday Inn can do better than this.

GR8 location and Room We were close to Ruby Falls, Denny's & Cracker Barrel & 10 minutes to downtown and the National Medal of Honor Museum & Tennessee Aquarium. Rooms we clean and included a breakfast (limited Covid 19 options) choice of muffin, apple, juce, bagel, etc. There was a coffee maker, microwave & fridge in the room. Friendly staff, good value & we'll return when in the area again.

Not too Clean for COVID "IHG Way of Clean" We stayed here for one night as a last minute getaway before my wife starts back to work at school. I choose Holiday Inn because I trust them. I could tell right away this property has some age. Upon arrival, was not welcomed as am IHG rewards member, reservation was not prepared although 8-10 others were already complete with room keys already made. I was beginning to think my reservation was not there. The desk clerk said he thought he already did it. He checked me in and informed me of the breakfast options. They are not serving normal breakfast. You get a slip of paper to choose a few items that come is a sack that is picked up the next morning. It is nothing special. All items can be picked up at a local Sam's for cheap. I was disapponted in the room inself. When we arrived at our room, the door was cracked. I was a little leery of entering. I pushed open the door and checked the room. Upon entering, the room smelled of dog urine and stain was noted on the floor. There was hair on the walls of the bathroom. I was almost afraid to touch the TV remote. We cleaned it before use! You may be saying, I would ask for a different room. Normally I would. However, it was late, we had just sat in a traffic jam on I-24 for over an hour and were hungry. I didn't feel like fighting for a new room. It was just a night. The staff was not bad. They did seem to be absent from the front desk a lot. It seemed like each time we passed, there was a sign that said will be back shortly. When left to go eat dinner, the guy wasn't there to give him our slip of paper for breakfast items. He did run me down in the parking lot to see what I needed. I will give him that. They are not giving paper receipts and as of 9am two days after check out, I still have not received an emailed receipt. If I am in this area again, I would pick another property to stay at. I was not happy with this IHG property.
