Great stay! Only stayed one night. Very clean room , comfortable bed . Nothing fancy coffee pot and microwave was kinda old but worked fine. No breakfast just a sack to go breakfast because of covid. It had bottled water breakfast bar and a fruit cup. Front desk staff was great. Stayed here before and will stay here again.

Not worth it for the price We went on Friday after Thanksgiving so it was more expensive and full than other days. It would have been fine except I expected more from a 'by wyndham hotel'. If paying more than 100$ for this room don't do it...Bed was terrible, seemed they just threw a pillow top on old mattress and called it a day, basically you sunk into it uncomfortably, pillows look nice in pictures yet are hard balls to actually sleep with. Comforter was non existent, just a sheet and thicker fabric for cover. Ac unit was window shaker old motel style that woke you up every time it started. Bedrooms were clean enough and had fridge and microwave. Front desk was very nice person and helpful. New covid rules closed the dining room so you get a bagged muffin for breakfast I had no issue with that. Overall not up to wyndham or any nice hotel standards. Basic, uncomfortable bed and clean that's it.

Old/Run-down Very old, run down, SLOW internet connection and "breakfast included" means being handed a brown bag with a small packaged muffin, fruit cup and carton of warm juice. Room was mostly clean. Breakfast area in lobby was blocked off with caution tape.

Oh, well...Mediocrity at its worst The front desk associate was awesome, the room was small, the bagged breakfast was terrible. I asked why they didn’t have a diabetic choice and i was told, “we’re doing our best.” Airlines can do different meals. Breakfast offered was their best? Their best was a high fat/high sugar fruit cup, muffin, orange juice.... no fresh fruit, no choices. and where was one supposed to eat their meal when they take the brown bag to their room...if they were doing “their best,” they would DO like homeschoolers with small temporary tables.... the hotel could’ve provided an inexpensive solution: folding table for two, so one guest doesn’t need to eat at the small desk while the other eats in bed...it would also be more sanitary. It’s also much nicer eating with your partner..... Billing was an issue as well.... Something not “kosher” (did not match our original reservation made on line- last minutes increase in room rate!) with their billing system. Plan to file an FTC complaint and see where that goes. It’s a PANDEMIC, not an opportunity to gouge or increase rates (my perception). When we return to Cherokee we’ll stay somewhere else.

Clean, well-run, and comfortable We stayed here in October 2020. This was the first vacation we'd taken since Covid-19. We felt very comfortable with the precautions that the hotel has implemented. Because of Covid, the hot breakfast was not offered and instead they provided a bagged breakfast with a muffin, fruit cocktail, and juice. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. As we left, elk were grazing in the field next to the hotel. The hotel is very well located to take advantage of the scenic attractions in the area. We used the hotel as home base and visited waterfalls in the Cherokee, Highlands, Cashiers, Brevard, and Maggie Valley areas. I would stay in this hotel again.
