Crappy housekeeping Absolutely crappy housekeeping. I was here for two weeks to support the Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. After 5 days, I allowed housekeeping to come in and left them $8. They provided clean towels but did not replenish my plastic glasses or change sheets. Day 10 I left them $7 and received no towels, no clean sheets, no plastic cups and my toilet was left nasty after not being cleaned for 10 days. The door was difficult to open until I learned I just had to use my hips to make it open. The breakfast meat was strange looking and I survived on the frosted flakes and milk. Would not recommend.

Tired hotel, but friendly service I stayed for 2 nights in Oct 2024. Giving this 3 stars for the friendly service. The front desk staff was really friendly. The breakfast attendant was super sweet, while working super hard to keep up with a full crowd - right when she opened at 6:30. Pros: -Friendly Staff -Very Comfortable Bed & Pillows -Decent breakfast/coffee Cons: -Very dated and tired room... curtains had tears in them -The air in the room felt damp -My room had 2 tvs, neither worked (nice TVs but the service didn't seem to be working) -The wifi didn't work during my stay

Very Noisy! We normally like HI Express but we will not return to this one. We were there, for a couple days and housekeeping thought it was a good idea, to yell, to each other, from one end of the hall, to the other, while playing a radio. The tv, in the breakfast area was very loud, making conversation nearly impossible. The guests, who did try to talk, had to talk loudly, to be heard. The volume was apparently, for the convenience of one of the front desk staff. The breakfast attendant seemed put out, that he had to refill breakfast foods and he let the coffee run out. The sheer curtains, in our room, were torn. There is so much room, for improvement here.

May have been nice at one time, not worth the $$ now. This place SEEMED to have ok ratings, but apparently they have slipped . We made reservations the day of, early, so they had plenty of time to get our room right. When we got there, they did not have a room ready for us, which caused a scramble to find one, but, to be fair, they DID find a room that was empty- but only SEMI-CLEANED. There was only a cursory cleaning done on the room, and we ended up doing some of the cleaning ourselves. The overall feel of the motel is that it was nice at one time, but has been let go in the interest of making money. The hall carpets are stained, and dingy, the outside has been ignored a bit as well. The breakfast was ok, standard fare, and the breakfast lady was hustling to keep up with the demand. Front desk personnel were pretty mediocre, on check in, I inquired as to whether I could pay cash at check out, and was told yes- on checking out, I was told no, they never take cash. Pretty incompetent.

Pass Room was damp. The AC did not work properly. The bed was on its last leg 5 years ago. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not up to HIE standards. No boiled eggs, over cooked biscuits, and over cooked cheesy eggs. Parking was plenty and restaurants were near by. Another guest I spoke with on the same floor had the same issue of their room being damp too. The bed felt sticky due to humidity.
