I would stay here again. I was skeptical given the prior reviews but pleasantly surprised. The hotel is right off 95. We stopped for the night while traveling. It was clean and the bed a very comfortable. The shower pressure was very good. The staff was pleasant. The elevator door is scratched up so clearly there have been some updates. I would caution those sensitive to noise to get a room facing the back— we were in the front, facing the highway. I put the fan on and it drowned out the highway noise and I slept fine.

Great place to sleep but wouldn't recommend if anything more is needed. Pros: Curtains are thick and block out light. Good night's sleep all 3 nights while staying. The 3 employees we met were super nice. Cons: Carpet in our room was sticky like it has NEVER been scrubbed and had left over foot remnants from every single guest who ever stayed in that room. No exhaust fan in the restroom - terribly sauna-esk after a shower. The restaurant is closed. Muffins, oranges, and water provided in the morning. The website shows they have a hot tub - upon further inspection, it has been concreted in. Housekeeping never visited. I'm all for saving water, etc. but I would have LOVED to change out the towels at least once. Moving to another hotel for my next business trip.

Not worth the extra expense We arrived at 11pm and were greeted by friendly staff and able to get right into our room. The end of our hall smelled very musty and, unfortunately, our room was worse. Due to the excessive humidity and must, the carpets were damp and the wallpaper was peeling. It looks like the hotel underwent updates recently, but the bathroom looks like a cover-job. The tiles need to be regrouted. The beds were very comfy so we slept well. But for the high cost (more than others in the area) I expected better. If we stayed for more than one night I would have requested a room change.

Richmond It was ok except for no real breakfast and no evening reception as advertised. Had muffins, breakfast bars, coffee and oranges. Staff was pleasant. Not a good value for the money. Clean but damaged furniture outside.

Disappointing The room, by no means, was dirty but it wasn’t clean. There were drink rings on the desk & one of the beds was half-made (not maid-dressed) like the other one. In this day & age of CoVid-19, unacceptable. Plus the hand sanitizer canisters were empty. The overall appearance and cleanliness was very good and I hope this was a solo faux pas.
