Comfortable stay Check in and check out were a breeze. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was an iron and ironing board, umbrella, hair dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, safe deposit box and a large TV. There was daily maid service for the rooms. The only complaint I have is that on arrival there were lots of hair on the shower closet floor and I pointed this out to the maid the next morning when she came to clean my room.

Most convenient location in downtown Chicago This hotel is just steps from the train and busses. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. The rooms are large with a king bed and the bathroom has 2 sinks. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Would recommend

Chicago Gem Hotel Blake is in a great location for all siteseeing in Chicago. Whether you are walking or using public transportation it was very easy to get around from the hotel. Our room was lovely with a king size bed and small sofa. We had a small refrigerator/freezer and microwave and the bathroom had a walk in shower. Staff was very helpful. There is a breakfast/lunch restaurant at the hotel, and several restaurants close by. Will definitely be back.
