What a fantastic improvement!! I take back all the bad things I’ve ever said about this hotel & I’m so glad we tried it again! It has improved 100% since the last time we stayed there. The staff were super friendly & efficient, the room was very nice & clean & the COOKIES are out of this world! Well done, everyone!!

Awesome customer service! Our company used to stay at Marriott when we come to Chico 4X a year. Recently, we have been trying Double Tree and it's been amazing. Great front staff and bar and cleanliness of rooms are the biggest reason. They always have a smile and welcome you warmly and it's been a real pleasure staying here. Amanda helped us last week and she is great! Very knowledgeable and friendly and it's nice to stay in a hotel where they truly care about their guests. Highly recommend.

Great hotel We had a family member in the hospital in Chico and needed a place to stay. The customer service/hospitality was incredible. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and updated. We were very pleased with our stay.

My Favorite Place to Stay in Chico The title says it all. I have family in Chico and I have visited twice in the past three years, and I plan to visit more in the future. I have stayed at the DoubleTree each time, and it's always been clean, comfortable and a good value. The staff is always wonderfully friendly, and the food is excellent, especially if you are a Hilton Honors member and get the voucher.

Not a Hilton I can’t say I had any real problems with the hotel overall. Had it not been a Hilton, I would say it was fine Hilton, however, has a reputation that this hotel did not meet. I’m trying to recall if I never been in a Hilton other than this one that did not have a microwave. The door to the room did not close on its own and the door to the shower leaked. The room itself was rather dark, and I thought maybe it was just me until another guest made the same comment. The clock beside the bed had a huge plug, which meant you could not plug anything into the outlet beside it. While I do not need my room cleaned every day, there was no notice that it would not be cleaned and it wasn’t for two days. The room is smaller than average as well. The staff were exceptional, though, making extra effort several times to accommodate us. If you want a decent hotel, this one works just fine. If you want a Hilton, you probably won’t be satisfied with this place.
