They DO have smoking rooms! They just don’t list it… Good for smokers! Bad for non-smokers, like me! Like most people, I look for a nice place to stay with a modest price. The pictures on the Super 8 website and Booking.com app are misleading. The place looks nothing like what you’d see if there. Upfront, the website and app should clearly state that the hotel / motel is NOT smoke free. Looking at the reviews now on Trip Advisor and Google, these problems span 8 years! The Director of Operations at Super 8, Richard Primm, replies to every comment with the same scripted response. However, several of the same problems seem to continue. Super 8 and Wyndham should consider cutting ties with this place. The smell was horrendous. Musty / Mildew and SMOKE. Had I known that this place had smoking rooms, we wouldn’t have stayed there. My wife had to use a couple hand towels to stuff under the door to prevent the smell of smoke from coming in. The smoking rooms were only a few doors down from us on the second floor. The front attendant said there were no available rooms on the first floor because they were booked. In the morning the parking lot did not have enough vehicles in it to indicate that the hotel was booked solid. The door required “persuasion” to lock as the plate on the side of the door slab is damaged. The room had patch filler in several spots on the wall, unpainted. The ironing board cover was stained and dinghy. The towel racks were loose. There was only one towel in the shower room and a wash cloth on the floor when we got there. The grout in the floor tiles in front of the shower was cracked and in need of redoing. Base tile along bathroom floor was sitting against the wall, not attached. Whoever painted the bathroom left the tape around the toilet paper holder (extremely poor job). Patch filler caked around shower curtain mounting bracket. The sheets had been bleached so many times there were spots of transparency. The mattress was a brick. The pillows were 2/3 the size of a standard pillow. The carpet in the main hallways was dinghy. The walls in the stairwell and hallways were scuffed severely. The doors are all scuffed where the room number placards are located. The parking lot is in dire need of repair from severe cracking, uplifting, and erosion in some areas. Especially near the front by the entrance. I could see where the elderly and disabled could stumble and fall.

Wouldn’t return. Staff was nice. And the towels were white and clean. That’s all the positive I can say about this experience. Bed was concave, sheets had previous mold stains, hole in blanket from a past smoker maybe?, shower rod falling off wall, and several doors and walls were patched over poorly.

The worst motel in Chillicothe. Avoid. One of the nastiest rooms I have been in...ever. Re-used linens on beds, complete with hair, fresh stains on sheets and white "spots" on comforter. I think sleeping in the dumpster behind the building would have been more hygenic. Avoid at all costs. Thankful for the new motel down the road for coming to the rescue.

What's the most important thing for a hotel stay? The bed! The bed was concave in the middle, I could feel the springs. The roo I would not recommend this hotel. Bad mattress and not clean. There was a long dark hair between the sheets. This made me wonder if the sheets were actually cleaned. There was a long dark hair in the sink. Breakfast equipment was not working. It seemed like the staff was trying, but it's just not enough. They used the same big picture over each bed, which is not how it should be set up.

Average at best Room and hotel were average at best. Accommodations were requested for our disabled child prior which were not a problem until we arrived and they couldn't follow through. Trash was never taken out of our room.
