Gathering for 50 people When planning a funeral gathering for family and friends you need a place that takes care of details. First off, location is ideal , right off I-81. Choosing a menu was easy with many choices clearly written . The dessert menu was varied. Add ons were no issue. As it was we had more people than planned and the Camelot had no issue accommodating extra. The bar was al a carte , but well stocked and the tender was very pleasant and efficient. We had a lot of compliments on the hot buffet- fresh vegetables, nicely cooked roast beef and chicken and the penne with vodka was excellent- a plus for those who were vegetarians. Dessert was a variety of pastries that were delicious. Price was good. Overall I would recommend the Camelot. Staff and service was great. I might add that we had been there a few times for lunch and had an excellent meal that helped determine our decision to have an event there.

Nice comfy place for a quick visit Quaint, comfy place to stay overnight while visiting family. Needed a reasonable place to stay overnight while visiting family in the area. It was peaceful, comfortable, and the staff was really nice. Bonus points for the nice restaurant downstairs where we had lunch.. Subtract one for leaving me a cellophane chemically-embalmed Otis Spunkmeyer muffin and a high fructose not-juice drink for breakfast. A freshly made muffin (even if it was from a mix) and a glass of real orange juice from a container at your bar would have perfected the visit. Hey, you own a restaurant right downstairs. You can do it.

Poor customer service Room was clean, quiet and dark. Towels were small and threadbare. TV poor reception and limited channels. Advertised breakfast was prepackaged granola bar and muffin in room at check in. Most annoying was a 3% fee added to price when paying by credit card. There was no notice of this in any prior communication.

Overall, we were very pleased with this restaurant, and I would love to stay there on a weekend get away First Impression I was unsure what to expect when booking lunch at this cute B&B. The name is honestly what drew me to it, I mean, who doesn't want to visit Camelot? The building was cute, and the entry door had a castle vibe. The decor was a rustic stone, and wood with a fireplace in the main dining hall. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon, so it was not crowded at all, and we were seated immediately. There were 2-4 person round tables, a bar section, and bench seating. We were seated at a corner bench seat. The staff was really friendly. Our server, Brianna was super friendly even when my daughter told her stories about how when she's feeling sick, everyone tells her she is whining. Through out lunch my middle son continued to ask how the fire alarm works, while mocking as if he was going to pull it, and Brianna remained kind, and understanding the entire time. It is an amazing feeling as a parent, when your kids are being kids, that you meet understanding and kindness instead of judgement. Dining Experience Brianna took our orders swiftly, and food was brought out without delay. The lunch menu consisted of a few appetizers, salads, flatbreads, and sandwiches. The children's menu had all the staples; mac and cheese, chicken tenders, pasta, and hamburgers. Upon arrival all food appeared appetizing, smelled good, was at a warm temperature, and was very flavorful. The portion size of the burger/sandwich was fairly large, with an average sized side dish. The child portions were equal size to adult portion size, which I love, because while my kids could not eat that much in one sitting, we took it to go, and they ate it for dinner. They had full bar selections with festive St paddy's day specials. Value was amazing. For 5 of us to have lunch the bill was under $55, which for a family of 5, is great! Pros and Cons Pros were the price, the courtesy and friendliness of staff, the food, and the bar selection, Cons, now keep in mind I was there on a Thursday afternoon, but the crowd seemed to be a more mature crowd, and not particularly geared towards families. That being said, they were incredibly accommodating for our crazy crowd. Overall, we were very pleased with this restaurant, and I would love to stay there on a weekend get away in one of their bed and breakfast suites.
