Gorgeous Remodel We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite for 2 nights. The remodel work they did is beautiful. This is a billion times better than it used to be. They do still need to upgrade the coverlet, fridge and microwave. Check in was easy, and friendly as was making the reservation. For this area the rates are perfect. We enjoyed our stay. One thing to know before you go, if you have this room 201, it is right next to a housekeeping closet on the second floor, the first night we did not put out the dnd sign and awoke to a lot of noise. The second night we put it out and had no problem.

Impressive Lobby! Cozy lobby, with a fireplace, decorated nicely making us feel welcome right away. The pool and spa area was very large, good for families. Typical high carb breakfast bar. Our room was comfortably furnished and smelled freshly sanitized. Clean bathroom, nice amenities, but cheap thin towels. Our most important complaint is that the mattress, pillows and sheets are long overdue for replacement. If those items are replaced, we’d stay again if in the area. Pet friendly.

Never Again Front desk staff was friendly, however room 209 had bug carcasses on bed sheets, boogers smeared on the side of the bed, dirty floors, crumbs of food, headboard stained, bed frame stained and dirty. Complained to front desk, he moved us to another room 105 the same issues dead bug carcasses on the sheets, smell of smoke in both rooms, dirty musty sheets. The place was not cleaned! Dirty! Bug infested! If you are looking for a place to stay I would venture down the road 5 miles and stay somewhere else. On the plus side we did get a refund.

Nicely remodeled but not enough to outdo the other concerns They did a great job remodeling the rooms. They look great and are updated nicely. What makes me likely to not stay there again is the entire place had the remnants of cigarette smoke - sort of like that building had been smoked in for so many years that no matter what they did they couldn't get rid of or mask the smell. The nice rooms did not match the smell of that place. The doors were not at all sound proof and there were lots of noises going on in the middle of the night that made me as a lone traveler feel a bit nervous.

Not a good value for the price! The staff was friendly enough and the parking was OK and seemed to be pretty safe, but for $80 we got: A non smoking room that smelled like smoke, (as did the hallways and lobby...) Sheets and pillow cases that smelled old and awful, No coffee maker or ANY amenities in the room, Walls so thin that in the middle of the night I could hear the neighbors "doing IT." (For a long, long time, with a lot of groans and ahs and moans and the headboard bumping against the wall.) The police arriving for an angry drunk who was staying in the motel, And a not very well cleaned room. On the other hand...... There are a lot of restaurants nearby and the proximity to the freeway made for a great quick escape in the morning, heading out for breakfast since they did not offer breakfast. NOT recommended.
