A good hotel for a good nights rest Check in was quick and efficient. The front desk staff were pleasant, explaining the services especially the breakfast. The room was comfortable, and quiet. We were on the third floor facing away from the road, so there were no issues there. The breakfast was very good with multiple choices. The staff kept the food hot and the coffee pot full. The WiFi was strong, with easy logon. There were no issues with cleanliness in the room, the bathroom, or the public areas.

Price Change upon check in PRICE Gauging We traveled up to this hotel for the CIF state meet. We were contacted by the GM Rosa Ayala on the day of check-in. She proceeded to tell us that the Room rate that was given upon booking a week ago will not be honored. The current rate was double the original reservation amount. Not only is this price gouging it is fraudulent business practices. Just as we have an obligation to cancel a reservation with ample notice, a hotel must give adequate time and notice if their plan is to change the advertised rate . I have stayed at Holiday Inn's around the world due to comfort and ease. To be treated like this in Clovis and at a rate of $250 per night is absurd. I would like corporate to please contact me so I can let them know the experience we had with their general manager and their night manager Sabrina.

Clean and comfortable with a few "issues" Positives: 1. Rooms were clean and comfortable 2. Breakfast was great especially the signature Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls which are amazing! 3. Got upgraded to a suite as an IHG Platinum without having to request an upgrade--this hotel knows how to treat it's IHG elite members and it shows. Negatives: 1. None of the televisions in the rooms were working and we were told this upon check-in, but it was still disappointing since I do enjoy watching tv when I stay at hotels. 2. There is a noticeable smell of weed in the hallway which I really can't stand, particularly in a hotel that is supposedly 100% smoke free. Over all, this hotel has a lot of potential to be a more solid choice in the Fresno area if they can successfully deal with these few issues which in my opinion are significant.

Tired property for price Rooms are large but in need of renovation. Price was high. There is plenty of hotel competition in this area; the only way this hotel shines is with the truly delicious free breakfast and terrific coffee.

Street side unbearably loud I stayed here two nights because I had business at Fresno State. The room is very nice: spacious, comfortable bed, refrigerator, etc. However, I found the noise being on the street side unbearable. Sirens, loud music from people driving by, even in the middle of the night there’s tons of traffic going by. The windows seem flimsy; at one point I even checked to make sure they were closed because it was so loud. It was hard to work or sleep. I would not stay here again unless I was guaranteed a room on the other side.
