Awesome beach location We were there for the 2025 National All State Championship Fast Pitch Softball hosted by the USSSA at the Florida's Space Coast. Resort location was ideal for our games, shopping, restaurant and it has its own beach entrance. Roo.s were spacious and clean. The resort offered heated pool, splash pad, hot tub and activities for all ages to participate in and even movie night with popcorn poolside. The staff and security was so friendly, and helpful. The resort is pet friendly. Yes, I will be coming back! Ours girls, The Dream Team took first place in the 2025 Championship.

Has its ups and downs Our family spent a few days in Orlando before heading to Westgate for some beach time. We booked this place because online it was rated the best place for kids. There was a picture of a splash pad with a slide which this location does not have. This was a bit disappointing but we should have done more research. The rooms are decent size but definitely need an upgrade! Our dishwasher was super rusty and falling apart. The door paint was bubbling and the couch was less than desirable. The other biggest issue which I know can be hard with Florida humidity was the mold in the shower. Just felt like for the price we paid these things could have been better maintained. The positives: the security staff and bartender were very friendly. The pool area was nice and being so close to the beach was perfect. You could walk down the beach and Beto the pier and can see a rocket launch from the beach as well! Overall I wouldn’t highly recommended this for families but if you’re staying for just a few days it will do. Hopefully upgrades are on the way though.

Nice condo-style rooms in an ok motel-style older property We stayed in a two bedroom condo in building seven, which is the one closest to the beach and away from the main building area. The condo had been updated and was very spacious and comfortable. The building, however, was very much a typical motel style room without much charm. Rooms open up to the parking lot and there is easy access to the beach right there. Across the street is the rest of the resort and remaining buildings. The two buildings closest to the reception and to the kids’ pool are indeed extremely loud, with live entertainment, competitions, and all sorts of people on loud microphones throughout the afternoon. There are communal washer and dryers in the area of the resort, but we had a hard time finding machines that were actually operational. The reception staff was very nice and there is a small shop on property. Everything else is within a short driving distance. The local vibe is very much strip malls, wide busy roadways, and lots of casual eateries and bars. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the Kennedy space center without traffic.

Short but pleasant stay Spent one night prior to a cruise. We did not end up using the pool area but it looked wonderful. Very clean and was nice having 2 bathrooms for 4 adults and a baby. I would stay here again

Worst nightmare in my entire life, please avoid this hell!!!! I honestly cannot classify Westgate Cocoa Beach as a “resort.” The installations are poor and neglected — our shower had no hot water, the TV didn’t work, and the toilet overflowed. On top of that, during heavy rain, all amenities were closed, which is understandable for safety, but management had no plan, no refund, and no alternative activities for guests. We ended up leaving a full day early just to escape the situation. What made it worse — a staff member called me afterward and laughed about it. That kind of unprofessionalism is shocking. For what they charge, you expect at least functioning rooms and basic courtesy. This was one of the worst “resort” experiences I’ve ever had. Strongly advise travelers to stay elsewhere — this place is overpriced, unmaintained, and lacks any respect for guests.
