KNOW BEFORE YOU GO.. On the website for THIS location it says the hotel is dog friendly 4 times. “Pet friendly” with a dog paw symbol is on the website in two places. The headline on the write up of the hotel says “Dog friendly hotel near Cape Canaveral” etc…. Under amenities it shows their pet policy. Up to 2 pets. 50lbs. I got there at 10pm with my family and our dog only to be told that they did not take dogs. They told me I could not stay at the hotel. It was 10 o’clock at night after a long drive and they actually wanted me to get back in my car and find a place to stay at that hour. I told him to get the manager back on the phone again or they would hear from my attorney. They let me stay. Also, this is NOT a hotel. It is a motel. The rooms are EXTERIOR ROOMS. You drive up to your front door. They don’t show that on the website. The lights next to the bed did not even work so the room was lit with the bathroom light and the front door light nothing in between. Also, very old and rundown. Cigarette burns on the bathtub and it’s a non-smoking facility.

Sometime you get what you pay for. The room was economical; however, it was not clean. My sister pulled back her covers and there was hair in the bed. There was a visibly dirty towel hanging in the bath room. We ended up sleeping on top of the covers in our clothes with what we hoped was a clean towel over the pillow. We were only there for one night and were up and out early due to lack of sleep. Took a sink bath as we were not comfortable getting in the shower.

Anti Veteran, Anti Disabled, RUDE Violated Americans with Disability Act. Demanded photo identification of certification for Service Dog (does not exist, and is illegal to request) along with wanting dog to perform task for them to witness. Owner is RUDE!! Bailey is only good employee. Despite microwave and fridge in room, food is not allowed in room. Breakfast gone by 8:00. Anywhere but here is where you need to stay. Oh forgot they want $150 CASH deposit when you check in.

Cruisers beware . DO NOT STAY HERE Hotel is in horrible condition. There were holes in the wall , rust on the shower head , some updates but the construction is poor . True definition of a pig with lipstick. We arrived early and were asked to pay $50 ( cash only ) to check in . Noticed while we were at the pool that there were rooms that were updated like online . Asked to switch . Was originally told, they couldn’t switch because they were fully booked and couldn’t clean our room , then was told 14 rooms were booked two months in advance for someone ( I went and counted 30 empty rooms and 2-3 occupied ) , finally the owner said he wasn’t having anyone in that building because of a tv issue . Overall dishonest establishment and not a good representation of the brand . The hotel has also stolen 4-5 grocery carts from Sam’s club and is using them as cleaning carts .

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!! Was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. The owner and staff have NO-IDEA on how to deal with their guest in a CURDIEST and RESPECTFUL manner. I've never felt so disrespected in my life and because of my service dog. The owner and staff had no-idea of the federal laws pertaining to service animals. So, if you are a Veteran or disabled American with a service animal, STAY-AWAY.
