Terrible service This is not one I want to write but feel very taken advantage of. We were in a bike trip through Wyoming down to Rushmore. We ran into a very bad storm with hail and torrential rains. We were in trouble and on the brink of losing my son due to hypothermia. Thankfully I had enough warm cloths to get him warmed back up, but I was now in trouble. We booked on line and paid for the guaranteed booking. Once I received the confirmation email I rushed over to get out of wet clothing and gear. I walked in just as the lady at the counter was giving our room away. I heard her say “You better hurry and take it before this other customer gets here, it’s booked but I can give it to you.” To which I asked if that was the room I just booked? She turned around picked up the peice of paper already printed off and asked me my name. I give her my name and she said well I guess so… and very ignorantly give us our room. To be completely honest if we weren’t in such dire need of the room I would have left. Why did I pay extra to guarantee the room when she was just going to give it away anyways? Not happy nor am I impressed.

Charge way too much for what you get. The floors were dirty and the carpet disgusting. Only 1 window in the entire cabin which was sealed shut and the air conditioner barely kept up and was loud and smelled. Very, very small...no chairs to sit outside the door or anything. Only got maid service once in 5 days after requesting towels. Phone didn't work so couldn't even call to request anything. The positive was a great shower and water pressure. Charged way too much for poor accomodation.

Comfortable but dated room. Staff was friendly, cabin was dated but comfortable. We asked for a refrigerator and microwave and they placed them in the room at no additional charge. Pleanty of hot water. Door was not snug and allowed air in around the door frame. Breakfast is not inclused and overpriced ($12.00) per person. Area is safe however these cabins are right next to a main roadway and you can hear the big rigs early in the morning. This family appears to also own the Holiday in and Quality Inn, located on the same property. If breakfast had been included, this would have been a good deal. So take you nightly rate and at $12.00 per person to that, then see if it is as cheap as someplace else what includes breakfast.

Poor Experience My in laws booked the “Suite” 2-bedroom with 3 beds cabin for 5 of us and as soon as we walked in we were all very surprised. The cabin didn’t look much like the ones on their website. It was tiny, had a queen bed as soon as you walked in then a bathroom which led to the second bedroom (jack and jill) with two doubles. I believe this set up would work for a family with two small kids but that is about it. The entire cabin was outdated and extremely cramped even for just two adults, it was also not very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful but that is about all that was great. Very misleading, would not recommend. You’re paying to sleep in a parking lot behind a comfort inn in a shack!

Warning! Worst room ever! Staff was very nice, but…This cabin is more like a little box. Toilet is lowest I’ve ever seen. Noise from traffic and LOUD window air conditioner. Crack between door and door jam. Spiders. No coffee maker. No fridge or microwave unless you ask. Then the roll in portables and take up the remaining floor space. We felt betrayed and trapped. Would not l let us cancel further nights.
