Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham College Station

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!! Great BEDS and BREAKFAST! We stayed here while one of our little dogs was at the A&M Animal Hospital Energency down the street. We hadn't known we were going to be staying overnight in CS, much less two nights and needed a pet-friendly place because we had our other little dog with us (one-time pet fee of $34). All of the hotel staff were super accomodating and so sweet. The free breakfast was a REAL HOT BREAKFAST (scrambled eggs, waffles, cheese potatoes, yogurt, coffee, juice, sausage, BACON, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc!) and was extemely tasty! The beds were fantastic and the rooms were super clean. Even though the 3rd floor was "under construction", we weren't bothered at all and the outside premises were clean and very well-kept, the grass was beautiful! We were under a lot of stress when we checked in and Kathleen was an absolute ANGEL to us. Her mission was to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was enjoyable. Can't say enough good about this sweet, young lady! ❤️ She even gave me some coupons for free appetizers at Texas Roadhouse! YUM! When we got news we had to stay another night, Brandy got us fixed up easily with the same room rate. We appreciated the no-stress of our entire stay and that allowed us to re-coup a bit before heading home with our injured, but healing pup. If we ever need to come bsck through CS, THIS WILL be our place to stay! Kudos to all!

PET FRIENDLY & EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES! After reading so many online reviews from different properties in the B/CS area, I had narrowed my choice down to 2...this one, and another. Both offered almost the exact same options, but the main one we needed was a PET Friendly facility...which BOTH advertised. I ALMOST booked the other hotel online, as it was closer to my daughter's home, but, decided to CALL and ask questions first. I am soo thankful I did, because when I mentioned reading online that they were pet friendly, (by the way, the other property's employee would have been rated maybe a "2") he told me no, they don't allow pets unless they are SERVICE dogs. I again mentioned that their advertising online clearly indicates that they are a pet friendly hotel, but he repeated himself with what he had previously mentioned. I thanked him for his time, and immediately called Hawthron Suites. From the moment the front desk clerk answered the phone, I KNEW this was THE PLACE for us! I encountered such a positive, energetic, and super cheerful vibe, AND they REALLY ARE PET FRIENDLY!

The best extended stay ever Bed was very comfortable. Staff is great! Very clean, great breakfast items. Nice area to stay in the middle of Bryan/College Station, with restaurants within walking distance. Front desk clerk, name starts with a D, was very informative and he help me with booking my last minute reservation with a great price. I appreciate that the most.

Over priced horrible experience! Hotel was old and run down. The room that I received was not what I booked. My room smelled like mildew. Horrible experience

Staying for work, despite facelift going on enjoyed the stay. The rooms are clean and the front desk folks are very helpful and personable! Plus, there are a couple of good places to eat nearby Hawthorne Suites. I cannot believe I have to use 200 characters in order for this to post! This is like having to write reports in high school all over again.
