Excellent Hotel Will is the man!!! _ I've stayed at a lot of hotels; I've lost count at this point, but I can say with complete confidence that Will is the most gracious and helpful person I've encountered at a hotel front desk. This man IS service _ Every time I've had a request, he has been able to accommodate me. I love staying here and I can't help but smile when I walk into the lobby now. This hotel is a great spot to stay in Columbia, MD. I've stayed here several times for multiple days each time and its the best hotel experience I've come across. I have stayed at several other hotels in the area when Homewood Suites was full and the other spots were not as good. In addition to their previously mentioned superhero staff member at the front desk, I have a couple more kudos to give. Whoever maintains the pool, does a great job- it's much cleaner than other hotel pools I've used. I broke my ankle a few months back and since then, I've reluctantly used a lot of hotel pools to do my physical therapy. They also serve this delicious frittata at breakfast (or they used to… it hasn't been served the last two weeks I stayed there). I can't help but go for a second plate when its on the menu. I'm saying my prayers that they bring it back because it's much better than the standard scrambled eggs served at hotel breakfasts. Last things to note: they have laundry on site, the 24/7 workout room has a cable machine, free weights, and cardio options, and by the first floor restrooms, there is a water bottle filling station. I've found that a water bottle filling station is surprisingly rare at hotels, so it's a nice bonus. Last thing- stay here on Wednesday night if you're into an evening social with food and drinks __

A solid choice! Highly recommend. Very clean, well maintained property! Location is convenient to dining, shopping, gasoline and other services. Bed was comfortable and blackout curtains worked well. The bountiful breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. Nice amenities including pool, fitness center, large laundry room with lots of machines, basketball court and well appointing patio with seating and bbq grill. Highly recommend! An absolute plus is the professional and friendly front desk staff member named Will. He is knowledgeable about the area and gave some good recommendations while providing service with a smile.

My home away from home This hotel was my home away from home for months on and off in 2022 and 2023 as I endured repeated home water emergencies. The staff is so warm and friendly here. I lived here with my dogs, and they made us feel supported and safe through our stays there. I also really appreciated being moved to a 2BR suite on an upper floor when my dog was spooked by sounds above us that he wasn’t used to. It was good space for us and was pretty quiet as well. The only issue I observed there was that the dryers were slow to dry and caused the smoke alarms to go off from time to time. I’d definitely stay here again and am grateful to the staff for making us feel so welcome.

Great Stay! My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and the staff were exceptional! It was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and the venue we attended. We definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back in the future!

4 month extended stay The staff at this Homewood Duotes made my family and I feel like we were at a home away from home for the 4 months we were waiting for our house repairs to be completed. We would highly recommend this hotel for other extended stay families!!!! Our daughters (almost) didn't want to leave.
