Great Stay. When we travel, Hampton Inns are one of our favorite places to stay. This was no exception. The staff, from the check-in desk to housekeeping, were uniformly efficient and friendly, greeting us with a smile and cheerful hello. Like most Hampton Inns this one wasn't overly fancy, just very comfortable, and with all the amenities needed for a night's stay. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with no odors. The bed was comfortable, with multiple fluffy pillows. The bathroom was also so clean it practically shone, and the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion were pleasant to use. We were very comfortable here and would stay again.

Traveler beware, this property is substandard. Traveling north and decided to stay here. Walked in and asked for a room and was put in a room that was very outdated and smelled terrible. I asked for another room and that room was worse… We ended up leaving as this is not a proper representation of a Hilton property. Front desk worker told me she couldn’t give me a refund and didn’t think I’d get a refund. Wow, I was there 15 minutes and what about that 100% Hampton guarantee??

Outdated 2024 Check in is pretty slow given just one person at the desk but he was very quick and efficient. Honestly I didn’t book this hotel for myself & I probably won’t book here again. For the price, you’d expect a more modern experience but the room is extremely outdated & it really just disappointed me. The Best Western plus right beside this is way nicer. I’m not saying this place is terrible, so far it’s clean & the bed is comfortable. Just expected a little more for $100+

Dogs in the breakfast food area Very nice staff. Breakfast is a typical Hampton breakfast minus a few things. Room must be on the update list because the furniture is stained and the bed is rickety. Super noisy A/C unit kept me awake all night. No shampoo in bottle on wall. The above things were not a big deal, but the deal breaker was the guest who kept bringing her two dogs into the breakfast food area. That’s not ok.

Bad Night I have stayed in many Hampton Inns and have found them to be a good choice for overnight accommodations. However, our recent stay at the Hampton Inn at the Two Notched Road location in Columbia, SC was one of the worst nights that we have spent in a Hampton Inn. My main complaint is the HVAC system in the room. It was very noisy, to the point that I shut it off at the thermostat. However, the zombie HVAC system continued to turn itself on, ever noisy! My wife and I both had a bad night. My other pet peeve is the COFFEE MATE! All other Hampton Inns have decent coffee and cream (Half and Half). Not this one. Only Coffee Mate. Why? Does it cost that much more? Forgive my ranting, but it added insult to injury.
