Spacious and clean Finally a good hotel!! Clean and spacious rooms. No more tiny toiletries - all pump Dive products in the shower and for the sink. Comfy beds and pillows. So much better than other hotels! Halls are clean and smell good. The front desk last night was not the friendliest but other than that - great stay.

Fine hotel in a lovely, famous city I'm loving this Holiday Inn express on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia, South Carolina. Check-in was smooth. We were greeted by Demarcus, a cheerful, friendly gentleman, our ambassador to Columbia and a true star! The room is pleasant. The microwave is brand new and spotless. The room's appointments are convenient and thoughtful, and the chairs are comfortable. We were able to walk to where we had dinner, and many more choices are a very short drive away. The shower was generous with its hot water, and the vanity sink drained flawlessly. It's certain that we would stay here again.

Special Rate - Do not accept and read the fine print! You will not get a refund or allow to change your reservation date Military families making reservations to see your loved one graduate from Basic training or anyone making a reservation, make sure you read the fine print on their special rate. Unfortunately, I thought I did and when I called to change my reservation date, I was informed of their policy. To my surprise, you cannot even change the reservation date. They consider that a cancellation and you will forfeit your deposit, the "full charge" for the room. I did not think they would consider a modification, a cancellation. Very unfortunate and expensive lesson learned. The Front Desk Clerk I spoke with said the GM will not accept modifications. I asked who is above the GM and was told he is the final authority. Military families, wait until you are certain your loved one is locked in to graduate before making reservations and always book the refundable booking. A non-refundable rate includes not being allowed to modify your date. CANCELLATION POLICY Canceling your reservation or failing to arrive will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Taxes may apply.

Best Sleep ever Bed was perfect , Spacious room and Great staff . They recommended a local restaurant named Hickory Tavern and the food was fantastic . I got the Tuna power bowl and my wife got the fish and chips !The breakfast at the Hotel was Great . I will be staying here AGAIN . It is close to I 77 . Soooo Glad we came here ! Clean room just to note

Glitches cost Money even Two minutes After They are Made I made the hotel reservation at 10:52 pm on November 3, 2024. Was supposed to be for Nov 4-Nov 5, but when I got the confirmation at 10:54 pm on Nov 3, the dates were Nov 3-Nov 4. I immediately called the hotel and was on the phone for an hour but the hotel manager refused to help in any way saying that the modification/cancellation window was closed. Okay, I get that there is a window, but I made the reservation 3 minutes ago!! Now I am being charged for a mistake that I didn't make and the hotel refuses to fix, I will be calling the BBB for this and filing a dispute with my bank. I refuse to pay for a reservation that I literally called about two minutes after I made it because of the wrong date and the hotel refuses to fix it. So much for appreciating loyal customers.
