Great stay! We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Location is great! Just off the highway and you can walk to the nearby restaurants for a great dinner.

Charges you for movies Was charged $29.42 for a movie package. Asked them to remove while checking out. Said manager was away and to call back later. I called back and was put on hold for 10 minutes. English is not the first language for reps at this location.

Great place to stay, good breakfast and Pauline at the front desk was amazing!!! We arrived late as our flight into ATL was delayed and the service at THRIFTY car rental in ATL was horrible and it took us 2 hours just to get the rental. Do not use Thrifty. But..... Please stay at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Columbus GA. As I stated we arrived late and when we checked into the room there was an unusual odor in the room. I went back to the front desk and talked to Pauline??, I hope that was her name as she was such a helpful lady. She said, "No problem, just give me a few minutes and I will see what I can do for you." Polite and courteous she came to our room and checked the smell for herself and said she would find us a different room. Within 10 minutes, she came back, knocked on our door and helped us with our bags to a different and odor free room. What a pleasure it was to deal with someone as kind and accommodating as she was. The breakfast was extremely good and was hot and fresh even when we went down at 8:30am, I think they shut down breakfast at 9:00am The beds were comfortable and both rooms were clean. If and when we are back in Columbus GA. we will be staying here once again. I truly hope I got Pauline's name correct as she was a fantastic hostess.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS Friday, August 23, 2024   Ms. Stephanie Alexander Hyatt Place Columbus – North 2974 North Lake Parkway Columbus, GA 31909   Upon leaving Hyatt Place Columbus - North today I would like to express my upmost gratitude to the employees of your facility. Thursday, August 16 was a very traumatic day for our family. Your staff assisted in getting my daughter into a safe and secure room and expressed their care and concerned for her. Since I arrived on Friday, August 17, you and your staff have done nothing short of assisting us in every way possible. Although it seemed strange the first two days, we became accustomed to being greeted upon each arrival and departure in the front lobby.  Believe it or not that sense of familiarity brought a slight bit of comfort in our chaotic days.  I would like to thank Kim, Paula and especially Alex for their assistance in the multiple changes to our reservations and their continued smiles and encouragement.  Chuck went out of his way multiple times to offer assistance, hold the door, greet and visit with us and this morning he helped me load all our possessions into our cars. Even your cleaning crew for our two rooms made adaptations to help us. In a very self-centered world, it was a pleasure to stay at your Hyatt and be the recipients of your caring staff.   With sincere appreciation,   Tami

Worst stat ever! Checked me out of my room without my permission For background, I am a Titanium Member with Marriott and Diamond with Hilton. I’m a very well known publicist in the music industry and sports and travel a lot for work. This was my worst stay ever! And I’ve never been treated with such disrespect as I was by the woman running the front desk on Sunday morning. She checked me out of my room without my permission when I was away from hotel playing in a tennis championship. When I came back to hotel at 10am she said they already cleaning it and she had no rooms for me to go to. Reminder…checkout is at noon! I asked for my belongings still in the room and the brought all the food from fridge and other personal items in a garbage bag. She even recommended I call the police if I was not happy. Other guests in the lobby were shocked and appalled by her behavior. I have video to back this up how rude she was. I would like the Saturday night for room 206 to be completely refunded as it is only right and I want my points back. I stayed in hotels 185 nights in the last year and for her to be rudest is quite an accomplishment and I would never want her as an ambassador for my agency or my clients and you all need to reconsider her. Totally disgusting was her behavior. And also important to note when I checked in the first room smelled like chemicals. I tried calling the front desk for an hour, I have screen shots to prove it, and then gave up and went downstairs and had to request a room change which I was also given attitude for.
