Booked for Two Nights and Stayed One....Unpleasant Experience I selected this hotel for a business trip. I had recently stayed in a Hampton Inn in Warren, MI and it was welcoming and comfortable. I enjoyed my experience at that Hampton Inn. I expected to have the same here in Commerce, GA.... not the case at all. I booked the hotel for two nights. The first night (11/21/2024) in room 331. I never slept at all. 1. When I walked into the room, I noticed the door did not close on its own, as most hotel doors do. I had to push up on the door to close it. 2. I walk farther into the room, and notice a leaf on the floor from the trees outside. 3. I pick up the remote, and the batteries fall out because there is no back to the remote control to hold them in. 4. I take a shower and notice hair on the towel. 5. I cut on the heat and the room begins to smell like dust. 6. The bed /mattress was extremely uncomfortable. I reported this to the woman at the front desk and asked what could she do. She said if I had told them immediately, I could've been moved to another room. I told her I thought the entire hotel was in the same condition. There was not a way to get a refund for not using the second night. I switched hotels. I went to Holiday Inn Express (down the street) and had a much better experience. I do not recommend this hotel. You may save a little money, but you may not feel comfortable in this hotel. You may see some response to this review, as if the staff cares. Trust and believe they don't. It was apparent from the staff member that I spoke with regarding my stay there.

Bleak setting & dismal interior Wow, this place is pretty gross. I've stayed in lots of "modest" highway-side chain hotels over my years but this was easily the least appealing. The hotel's location is dark and industrial, and the unsavory folks sitting outside when I arrived further set the tone. I walked past the unmanned desk to use my digital key after checking in online - that didn't work, but I was able to quickly get a key once the desk clerk returned. Upon entering my room I was hit with a blast of musty, humid air and low lighting. I was only going to be there for 8 hours so I figured "how bad can it be?". I left for the party I was traveling to and returned around midnight, again blasted by the musty smell and then seeing clear signs of mold and water damage on my ceiling, razor stubble in my sink, an unclean toilet. Really nice. I slept the night, woke up early, opted not to shower, and headed on my way. I suggest you avoid this one!

Small Room. Not clean. Do not stay here. Tiny room. Stains on floor. No water at checkin (container was empty and staff wouldn’t refill). Generally old and not updated. We were stopping on the way to clemson for a college visit. I wound stay some where else.

Great People but Property is in Disrepair I’ve stayed at Hamptons all across the US and this one is the worse one I’ve stayed at. The property is in disrepair and what has been repaired isn’t up to the Hampton/Hilton standard. The hotel smells a little musty and the room smelled like an old basement. The bathroom had holes in it, the caulking was moldy, and the paint over repairs didn’t match and had runs like a bad spray paint job. The receptionist was nice but you could tell they were understaffed and over worked. I would say that was a post Covid issue but I checked out and stayed across the highway the rest of my trip and the other hotel didn’t have that issue so again, this seemed like a property management issue. Don’t stay here.

Dissatisfied for the first time staying with Hampton inn Sometimes the staff has no control of the quality of the hotel but in this case laziness and not caring at all led to a doubling up of my dissatisfaction. My door wouldn’t lock so I stayed up all nite so my wife and two girls could get some rest after driving all day. Also an overwhelming stench of pet feces was in a few spots on the carpet.
