Favorite in the chain By far our favorite hotel. We have it saved in our favorites and book any time we’re in the area. Rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and staff is ridiculously friendly. The location is perfect. You don’t get too much noise from the highway, but you’re also close enough to hop in the car and be anywhere you might want to go within 5-10 minutes.

What doing it right looks like Hotel is spectacular! My room must have been newly renovated. Exceptionally clean, friendly staff. Colin checked me in. He was quick, friendly, and had an innate ability to convey genuine hospitality. Shower in the room was awesome! (Very important to me for an early morning wake up). What was the make and model of the shower head? I want to buy on for home!. Kudos to management and the team. This is what a hotel experience should be.

Old property and VERY RUDE front desk staff! My mother and I flew in to NC and needed a place to stay last-minute. We booked here, because I prefer Hilton properties, and this one had good reviews. We booked at 10:30pm and upon check-in, I asked Charvielle at the front desk whether it was possible to get a discounted rate due to it being so late (it was past 11:00pm at this point). I have had other hotels do this in the past, as the room would have otherwise sat vacant the entire night. A simple, "No, unfortunately we cannot," would have sufficed. Instead, Charvielle smirked at me, then turned to an older man named David and repeated my request. David scoffed, gave me a dirty look, then said loudly, "NO. 10PM is NOT late. 5AM is late!" Charvielle laughed, then took my driver's license and joked, "AND she's even on California time!" implying it was not even "late" for us yet due to the time difference. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We regret coming here and will be staying elsewhere for the remainder of our visit in NC. It has been a long time since I dealt with staff who were this unnecessarily rude. Why are people like this doing anything customer-facing?? The room is dimly lit and in need of updating. The furniture is chipping, and the walls are paper thin between rooms. Breakfast is also not complimentary. This hotel is not worth what they charge. We will not be staying here again and have told our other relatives who are coming into town not to stay here, either. Horrible experience!

Horrible Check In and Room Not Ready. Unprofessional staff. Arrived to check in at hotel at 9:30 PM. No one at desk. Young man with toothpick in his mouth finally walks up and says “what’s up”. I give him my name. There is no acknowledgment that I am a Hilton Diamond member and I have to ask for my complementary waters and inquire about breakfast. He rudely starts talking to a friend who approached the desk before completing my check in. I inquire about the absence of any luggage carts, and he replies that the guests must have not returned any. Another manager comes out from the office at this time and hears the conversation but offers no assistance. I go up in the elevator and comb the halllways to get a luggage cart. As I exit to go to my car I see the both of them at the front desk just scanning their cell phones. Why couldn’t they take the initiative to go get some frickin’ carts? There are two of them, and they are doing nothing. When I get to my room, the door has been left open Every drawer is pulled out and the cushion is out of the chair. I called the front desk to ask about the readiness of the room and all I got was “housekeeping must have forgot to come back”. A completely unprofessional operation and just lazy employees in my opinion. Take your business elsewhere.
