Concord area stay 1 night and worried about safety as the connecting door didn’t lock so a piece of furniture pulled in front of door! Shower curtain moldy & didn’t keep water in stall! Shower drain w/black mold. Shower arm coming out of wall. Sink cold water didn’t turn off. Fire detector likely unfunctional. Room phone not functioning & showed a room number other than mine!?! Hot breakfast was good & coffee plentiful. Staff pleasant, cordial & helpful! Parking sufficient.

Do not stay in this dingy, musty hotel Pros: The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean. Pool was clean. Breakfast was decent. Location was convenient. Cons: There was black mold on our air conditioning unit. There was plastic wrap over the window because of the building being painted, so we could not open the window for fresh air or ventilation; this made the room feel extremely humid, moist, and thus it had the worst musty smell. There were guests smoking weed in the rooms and out front of the hotel at all hours of the day and night. We could hear all the noises coming from neighboring rooms and smell all their food smells as well as we walked in the hallways. The common areas of the hotel such as the lobby, dining room, and 2nd floor sitting area were dirty, dingy, and run-down. Everything had the appearance of being unkempt and needing updating badly. The vending machine room smelled awful as well. Lastly, the maids/staff did not come in to clean the rooms at ALL during our stay. This was just an overall terrible stay and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone unless some serious changes are made. Wifi is SO slow, almost non-existent. It kept disconnecting from my laptop because the signal would drop.

Sketchy, dated and unclean I absolutely would not stay here again. It is very dated, no hot breakfast, and over all sketchy. There was a marked police card for the city of concord permanently parked in the front entrance to the hotel. You get what you pay for. The “Breakfast’ was only cereal. We were told it was from 7-1030. We went down around 9 and the only thing out was cereal and yogurt. The shower was unclean and there were “Gummy” candies underneath the bed that I did not have. There were hairs everywhere in the room.

Quick spur of the moment trip! All the staff was great. Despite the busy weekend everyone was nice and helpful . My husband and I didn't have a reservation and they had a room available. We had 2 double beds and it was a smaller room but it was nice. Really no need to go anywhere for breakfast they had waffles, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage gravy, etc. The only things I would mention about the room which probably would be easy fixes, the room we stayed in needed a new refrigerator and the bathroom door needed to be fixed it kept getting stuck. Unfortunately we had a very tall tree outside our window and maybe it should be cut a little there was a storm and I thought I the limbs would come through it window _. Overall a good place to stay. Walkable restaurants nearby.

Unconfortable situation due to entitled Desk Clerk I did not have a good or bad experience upon checking into the hotel. What I did have is a feeling that something was not right about the whole situation - I thought maybe it was because she had her young daughter with her so I just kept it at the back of my mind. After I checked in, I went to get something to eat and brought it back to the hotel with me. That's when I noticed that neither of the 2 vehicles parked in the Handicap spaces. Since I am disabled and I had to park at the far end, I took offense to this. I talked to the desk clerk and told her about the 2 vehicles parked illegally. She told me the one closest to the main entrance was her and brushed me off because she wasn't going to be working all night anyway. I shook my head and walked away hoping she would have a change of heart and move her car. After eating my dinner, I went to gas up my truck and upon return, was disgusted by the fact that they were still occupying the Handicap parking spots. So I decided to start taking pictures of the vehicles, the parking spots and the license plates. At that point the hotel employees' entrance flies open and this employee confronts me about my activity. I told her I was planning on reporting the issue to which she says "OK. But it's at the discretion of the owner anyway." I looked at her cockeyed and informed her that I was actually planning on reporting this to the Police so they can write them tickets. She responded with "Okay." When I looked out about 30-minutes after the encounter, both cars had been moved. I still plan on reporting the incident to the national chain (Choice Hotels) and plan on sending them all the pictures I took.
