Exceptional Hotel at a Great Price This hotel has been completely remodeled. It’s beautiful, the rooms are clean with laminate floors. The beds are comfortable, the housekeeping staff are friendly as is the front desk staff. The breakfast is very good served hot and fresh as the area is kept neat and clean. The hotel is convenient to shopping and many restaurants. We will be staying here again without hesitation.

Za rules must not be broken! Za rules must not be broken!! We stayed here while attending a quilt retreat from a Friday to Saturday. We arrived back at this hotel at 11:01 pm and asked if we could please use the hot tub even if just for ten minutes. A grumpier older attendant could only repeat, "Pool closes at 11!" (For the price of these rooms we couldn't even get a friendly smile or the word "The" before such a sentence. _) We explained we understood we were past the pool closing time but by one minute. It was two adults asking for a quiet and relaxing ten minutes in a hot tub. I would be a little more understanding and compliant with the pool's assigned hours should said Grumpy Attendant have to go resanitize the pool. It meant little more than opening a door, asking us to please be as quiet as possible and keep it to the ten minutes. But, we were late. It was our fault we missed the pool being open. I guess it was more Mr. Grumpy's approach/response that I find offensive. To top it off, the pool doesn't reopen again until 9 am. With check out being strictly adhered to at 11 am, it's tough to have enough time to use the pool for an hour, shower and get ready to go on time. So much for paying more to use the amenities. Honestly, I'm sounding somewhat entitled and I know it. I should've looked closer at the policies. I take responsibility but at these prices why not give a girl an inch? Even breakfast was a problem. I arrived to breakfast at 5:45 thinking it was 6:45. Guess what! The Continental breakfast doesn't open until 6 am and I was given slack for toasting my bagel before 6. "We might need to have a chat." says Mr Grumpy. I about told him a well-deserved F&!k off but I smiled and kept on-a-toastn'. I'm such a Karen. Given the restrictions, Mr Grumpy, a running toilet all night and a sink that doesn't drain (we didn't dare report the room problems to said Mr Grumpy) we will never stay here again.
