Five Stars I remember staying here 20some years ago when Coralville was much smaller and options were much fewer and this place was the best hotel in the area It still is a great hotel which has kept up with the times. I give this five stars as it’s hard to think of anything I would suggest. Beds were comfortable and up to Holiday inn standards. Nice amenities include a big TV, an office area, Keurig, a nice fridge and a safe among other things. Nice shower and bathroom. The pool was nice and large. Staff was super helpful. There are a lot of places to eat in the area- even in walking distance. The breakfast was typical Hotel but was hot and had a lot of choices. If you are not that familiar with the area, things are kind of spread out, but every thing is a short drive in Iowa City and Coralville I was also happily with the price which was less than worse hotels that I have stayed at in the area. My one complaint is I would love to have a little kids tv channel in the lineup (Nick Jr, PBS Kids, Freeform). Otherwise. Five stars

Nice stay The room was clean but a little tired. The window shade in our room was broken. The exercise room is tiny but the equipment was in good condition. The breakfast room was not as spacious or well equipped as other Holiday Inn Express hotels. They’re in the process of remodeling. Location is very convenient to shopping and the highway. Not the most memorable stay we’ve had but it was a reasonable place to stay for a night.

Incredibly poor customer service I'm very fair with reviews but after arriving to Holiday Inn (after booking many days in advance) we were told they overbooked and basically too bad, so sad. April, the manager, was impossible to work with and couldn't have cared less that our family was now without a hotel room and was incredibly rude. Customer service was absolutely poor, do not recommend.

Room was clean and large The king room was large. Has a small kitchen like area. Everything in the room was clean. The a/c had a loud ticking noise. The hotel was fully booked so we couldn’t get a different room. Breakfast was the standard. It was a nice surprise to find gluten free muffins available.

It’s just ok We stayed here 2 years ago and I remembered it as being pretty good. Passing through the area, so booked a room here again. It wasn’t as I remembered. The staff was pleasant, I will give that positive. The room was kind of clean, but the bathroom was questionable, especially the floor. Breakfast was truly inedible, unless all you want is toast and cold cereal. And the elevator was horrifically slow. Very frustrating.
