Big Pig Jig Accomodations I am a travel agent. I selected this hotel for my parents wedding anniversary and my father's birthday trip. They planned to attend the Big Pig Jig in Vienna, GA. They prefer to stay in IHG hotels. Well, this hotel was lackluster. I went to stay with them one night during there stay. I never saw anyone at the front desk (maybe they were always busy helping other customers). My parents said they had to wait for someone to come so they could check in. But once the staff came to the front desk, they were very courteous, efficient, and helpful. After check-in, they traveled to the room. The room was nice and spacious. The two tv's were great but there was only one remote control to in the room. So, you had to share the remote to operate both tv's. The bathroom was outdated. The toilet had stains inside the toilet bowl. I am going the give housekeeping the benefit of the double and say they were stains. There were two sets of towels in the bathroom. But no hand towels were provided and the face clothes were too stained to be used. During there stay, they didn't want the entire room cleaned. They just wanted the bathroom cleaned and the trash remove. But even that seemed to be a struggle for housekeeping. They kept getting dirty towels and no refills on paper products (kleenex). The highlights of the hotel are the breakfast, blackout curtains, and the comfortable beds!! Overall, not the best and not the worst hotel to choose. I must admit the next time I am in the area, I will not be back to this hotel. I was very underwhelmed. This Holiday Inn Express did not represent the brand very well.

OK hotel, nothing special, staff very nice The bed was a little on the high side, but comfy once I got in. The people at the front desk were very nice and recommended a restaurant for me to dine at. I ended up walking out of the restaurant after waiting for almost 15 minutes after I was unable to get the attention of anyone there. I do have some concerns about the hotel. Mainly a safety concern. As I was leaving, I was unable to open the door to the outside, and a maintenance man came to my rescue and was also unable to open it initially. The bar literally came loose in his hands. He was finally able to open the door, but I can't help but wonder what would have happened if someone wanted to leave and was unable to do so.

Bad vibes We stopped here after a trip to Disney for one night. We arrived late because of bad traffic. On the way to our room we noticed one of the side doors into the building was left open and I made my husband shut it. Then when we got to our room we heard the A/C make a jack hammer noise, then noticed that food was left in the fridge. We went down to see if we could switch rooms and the same door from before was propped open again. At first the night worker said we could not switch rooms and that there would not be a manager available to speak with until Monday. They said we could give up our room and get a full refund but it was very late so we decided to stay and stick it out. About 30 minutes later he came and gave us a new room thankfully. Breakfast was good, slept okay but will not be back. The outside door being left propped open was very odd and a major safety concern. The facility looks like they renovated it but only partially. Do not recommend.

DIRTY room, accommodating staff Our check in process was smooth. However on arrival to our room we opened the toilet to discover it had poop all over the bowl and had clearly not been cleaned. The tub had hair all over the sides and was dirty. The front desk staff was accommodating and quickly got us another room. The second room was clean but the first room definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Contential breakfast was good.
