Super 8 by Wyndham Corning

Pool is closed for heath violations We were under mandatory evacuation from the park fire. The only thing my kids had to look forward was swimming to get there minds off our community burning down. After they went down to the pool a sign was posted the pool is closed for heath violations. Room had no accessible plugins for our phones.

Don't stay there I will never stay at a super 8 again. I had to cut my trip short by one day and ask for a refund, but haven't had any meaningful response from the irresponsible management of this motel. Don't even think about staying there!!!

Keep driving! Don’t stay here! Keep driving! Don’t stay here! Clean room? Nope. Quiet? Nope. Breakfast? Nope. 2 AM landscaping? Yes! Undisclosed pet fee? Yes! Dark and curly hair in the bath tub? You bet! Seriously, just keep trucking down the 5 to literally any other hotel. Haven’t been this grossed out before.

clean and comfortable stay we stayed 7 nights,had a good rate,our room was clean and quiet,we felt safe and secure,the front desk guy let us know all we had to do was ask if we needed anything at all.the property was clean and in order,safe after dark.

Tough visit to Corning, California Corning is a hard working town, and probably most of the visitors are traveling through. I was there with a group doing some fishing for a few days and just needed a relatively simple place to crash for a couple of nights. This motel is what you would expect for the price---the front desk person was extremely nice and personable/helpful. The walls in the rooms are paper thin and I slept poorly with either loud conversations next door, or REALLY loud snoring. I guess the room was relatively clean (?)--everything is pretty worn out. I found my room and rate featured through Tripadvisor using Algotels. DON"T USE THEM. They are absolutely horrible. Even though I had a confirmed reservation in hand from Algotels, the front desk person told me my credit card had been declined. There was no contact information on the Algotels confirmation email. Finally found a number on the web and of course was put into a hold queue when calling...which eventually led to the call just being dropped. After a dozen tries with the same result (no exaggeration), I gave up. I have yet been able to contact Algotels and who knows if I will get double billed for the room (I paid for the room directly at the front desk). I got the same rate as Algotels gave me, so why did I use them in the first place anyway? TripAdvisor REALLY needs to review partners such as Algotels and NOT USE THEM! A quick search on the web shows a 1 star rating... they've got problems. Trip Advisor is supposed to make my travel easy----they led me to a horrible experience. Overall, a pretty rotten visit based on the accommodations and the service from Algotels. Admittedly, I am not surprised by the quality of the accommodations, but the overall experience rates a 1 star minus.
