Great Stay....Nate is great Travelled to the OBX for a couple days and stayed at the Hampton Inn in Corolla. It was very relaxing experience. The bed was comfortable the TV and AC were in working order. There was no room drama. It is a great location near the wild horse sanctuary and there are a couple of different tour options to ride through the sanctuary. We visited the local museum and climbed the 200+ steps up the Currituck Lighthouse. Back at the hotel the pool facilities were very nice and all in service. The area was extremely clean and tidy and the star of that show was Nate. He was very detailed washing down the pool deck and after awhile stopped to see how our stay was going. It is always appreciative when someone goes out of their way to check and make sure your stay is pleasant.

Great room, great location, no restaurant! My husband and I came in a few days early before our family vacation home was available. The Hampton Inn was conveniently located in Corolla so by the house. The room was large and spacious and clean. The staff was friendly (although very lightly staffed front desk). Coffee in lobby is stocked all day and great flavor! Impt to know that there is no restaurant at this hotel so be sure to grab dinner if coming in late! The rooms do have microwaves and fridges if you grab something quick and bring it back. Staff allowed us to use pool and beach entrance even after checkout, which was nice to kill time till our house was ready. We would definitely stay here again!

Average hotel high price Hotel used to be an easy 4 star rating unfortunately it has not aged well. Floors were filthy. Carpets need replaced. Breakfast was crowded and mostly continental items . Hot tub was dirty. Rooms were priced really high due to lack of hotels in the area. Not really worth it IMO

Outer Banks quality stay Comfortable rooms and bedding. Rooms very clean. Great pool. Recently refurbished lobby and downstairs. Proximity to the beach and pier is unbeatable. Hallways and stair wells are a bit musty. Loved listening to the crashing waves at night.

Relaxing Hotel with Beautiful Beachfront Location We love the location of this hotel. It's on a quiet stretch of beach with beautiful dunes and lots of room to spread out. The grounds are also spacious and this contributes to the relaxing vibe. We enjoyed seeing a bunny and also a sand crab that lived right outside our room. Breakfast is standard for a Hampton Inn, but not bad. The indoor hot tub is a little small for the number of rooms at the hotel, but there are two swimming pools and a small lazy river, so you have options. Our room was a good size and clean but showing just a bit of age. With renovations, this hotel could easily get a 5 rating from us. We'd give it a 4 currently.
