The BEST place to stay in Coronado! We have been coming back to the El Cordova every summer and it is truly the BEST place to stay in Coronado. The location is perfect - you can walk to every restaurant, to all the cute stores and it is right across the street from the beach. The staff is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They always seem to go out of their way for us, which is why we keep coming back. The hotel has so much history and charm without a touristy vibe. Cleaning and sanitation were top notch and I felt very safe, especially during our previous stay in November 2020. Our room had more than enough towels and amenities so we could go the weekend without maid service, but it was available if we requested. We LOVE the El Cordova and are already planning to visit again next summer.

Our Favorite Summer Retreat! My family has been staying at El Cordova nearly every summer since I was 16 years old (1997), We have ALWAYS enjoyed staying here. Excellent location, spacious rooms, and wonderful staff. I have to say that our stay this summer (July 2021) was by far the best stay we have ever had. Everything seemed just perfectly done. The staff was 100% fantastic, friendly, and kind. The room was immaculate and well-equipped. The common spaces were super clean and better than ever. I've always love the El Cordova, but our stay this year truly impressed us. We already have our reservations for next summer! Cannot wait.

Family vacation Don’t waste your money on Del Coronado Hotel just to be on the beach. This hotel it’s only a few steps further maybe 200 steps further to the beach . Yet you pay a lot less and the rooms and service are awesome. You feel like you are somewhere in Europe, beautiful courtyard so you enjoy everything that Coronado has but for less money. El Cordova you have me hooked for life every year with my family at your place. . Thank you Matt and everyone they work at the front desk, you are all awesome

A wonderful boutique hotel on Coronado Island. Our family has enjoyed our time at the El Cordova Hotel year after year! Benny and his staff are very accommodating and treat us like family! This hotel has a great courtyard area with a huge firepit and plenty of seating.

Coronado Weekend Great hotel - great location, clean, Starbucks coffee, fluffy soft towels, good food options at the hotel and nearby and beach is within walking distance. The hotel also offers many options for room size.
