Comfortable and near arena We booked through hotels.com at an amazing price and got situated there. We got to Econolodge around 3:30pm and we were able to check in very smoothly. We paid the 30$ deposit to stay at the hotel and learned that there were a lot of WWE fans attending the show staying at the hotel. This was very cool as we met some good peeps and had some good convos with them about WWE! Pro: Comfortable Beds The beds in the room had that heavenly feel when you laid your body on them! We all slept very well on the beds as they were soft, comfortable, and fit our big bodies. The sheets were soft and smooth as we laid down to relax after a long day of business in the city. Cold room The air conditioner did it’s job as keeping the room nice and crispy! I have been rooms were sometimes the AC would have trouble keeping a room at 69 degrees and had to be adjusted for the continued functionality. The AC at Econolodge provided such cold air and dependable circulation that we had no problem with the air condition. Easily Accessible to Downtown Corpus Christi The hotel was near I37 which made it easier to get on and off of the highway when needed made it so much better. Also, the road next to the hotel took us downtown Corpus Christi to the arena and venues of the city. This was so much at ease and kept us near all the action of Corpus Christi. Con: Road Construction Where the hotel is situation, there is a lot of road construction going on in the area. The hotel did have a sign to show where to turn to enter the hotel. Rating: 8 out of 10

Don't judge this book by its cover! Don't judge this book by its cover! My room was clean, comfortable, fully equipped, and quiet, in spite of nearby construction. Everything worked. The people at the front desk were friendly and efficient. All for a great price.

DIRTY AND HOT! Seek somewhere else to stay!! This hotel has severely gone down hill. Our room was absolutely filthy and disgusting and extremely hot to the point we had to leave and sit in our car with the AC running while we waiting for our room to get cooler. The bathtub had hair on the walls and rust all over the place. Luckily I brought sheets, blankets and pillows from home because who knows if the sheets were even clean/changed out. We left a night early because we couldn't handle another night. Will definitely not be returning.

Too HOT!!! Don't waste your money here! And definitely do not stay here anytime the weather is hot outside. The rooms are not air-conditioned until you, a guest, enter the room which is about 89 degrees inside, and turn on the AC yourself. Even though the rooms are small, it takes HOURS to cool down from 89 degrees, and during that time, you are miserable. And when the room finally gets bearable so that you can go to bed, hopefully, the people in the next room do not have a screaming child, and adults that think that is funny to annoy the child so he will never shut up. Absolutely horrible place in a sketchy area full of construction in which you won't feel safe, too! Spend $20 more and go to Springhill Suites by Marriott. You will walk into a beautiful room that is chilled just right, park in a brightly lit area, and you get a full buffet breakfast included, too.

Very smoky, do not stay if you have asthma Currently staying in a supposed "no-smoking room". The cigarette smell and particulates are palpable. Front desk made no effort to rectify the problem other than offering to spray air freshener. This could cause medical issues for people with asthma. I would not recommend staying here ever.
