Nice trip Corpus Christi 27 of July I came here with my family. I made my reservation through a reception ( Rachel__❤️) make our trip easy and nice. She helped me with the reservation parking and breakfast thank you Rachel she make my day _ I will recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. I know . _

Double Tree By Hilton is All About Location, Little Else Well, I am conflicted with the 3 stars of this review. Why? Well, there were some good things about the Doubletree by Hilton Corpus Christi Beachfront. One of those good things is in why it has beachfront in the name. You are paying for the view and the beach access which is really great. If you are not wanting to swim directly in the Gulf of Mexico, Corpus Christi Bay is a way to satisfy the desire of getting in the saltwater and hearing the seagulls and soft sound of the ocean without facing the full fury of the Gulf. The room facing the bay has a balcony, with two plastic chairs on it and no small table to hold drinks. Let's talk about parking. You have to pay for it, but it does not guarantee you will have a parking space. The lot is small. The lobby was clean, bright and inviting. The room was clean, but not an exceptional design for a Hilton property. In fact, the room and the bathroom especially were showing age and exposure to the elements. Rust on some of the door jams, the bathtub was sort of old and scratched (not a walk-in shower), the plumbing was not strongly secured to the panel and the handhold in the bathtub wall was not very well secured to the wall either. A basic white shower curtain kept the water spray in the tub. The shower was nice and hot though and if getting sand and sunscreen off is the goal, the shower does this fine. The bathroom otherwise was clean. No complaints there. There was only a single plastic chair in the room. There is a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The weekend breakfast buffet was also not complimentary, however, the crew that handled the buffet were really on the ball and were super friendly and very polite. The supervisor too was making sure that the food was brought out and ready and she engaged the patrons often with friendly banter. A very inviting buffet of the usual stuff one finds such as scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, cereals, rolls, coffee and juice etc. The one item that was totally baffling and sort of ruined our stay was the room air conditioner. It worked fine and kept the room cold, but the thermostat just clicked and the unit turned on and off constantly. If you can't sleep due to air conditioner noise, do not stay here. I counted the wall unit coming on 20 times in one hour! So the takeaway from staying at this hotel is there are probably better choices and ones that offer a higher quality room and bathroom for the money. But you will find no harder working staff dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible.

Great weekend on the water Great location right on the water by the USS Lexington. Staff was really nice and helpful. This was a hectic weekend with the Crowd Strike error causing havoc throughout everyone's online systems and they switched to a manual system and continued to help everyone. It was refreshing to have house keeping visit everyday and they were happy to assist when I needed a few extras. Thank you Double Tree staff and mgmt for the great stay!

What a VIEW at NIGHT _ What a Beautiful View. This hotel was a wonderful stay. Loved the live music and access to the Beach. Rooms were comfy and Very clean. Pool was clean and towels were always available. We can't wait to go back. Staff was very informative on the area. Aurora Theaters _ Stay with confidence _

Great and welcoming experience. I travel often but seldom write reviews as most hotels feel like they’re going through the motions. My brother in law got us a room at this beautiful hotel and what stood out was the effort the staff took in engaging with my family and I. actually looking at us in the eye and giving the feeling of genuine concern for experience and hospitality. The manager Nicole was the first general manager I’d seen who gave my family a smile with just the way she spoke to us. I have to say, great job on all the staffs part. Stay here if you get the opportunity!
