An unpleasant experience!!! I booked two rooms for two nights at this motel. The motel is under renovation and the renovated rooms are in decent condition, however the carpeting was not changed, nor was it clean. Our rooms were not "cleaned", as we did not received clean towels after our first night and our beds were not straightened, no one had entered out rooms! When questioned, the management was very rude and said they only checked rooms after a three night stay and they did not offer clean towels. Breakfast consisted of two loves of bread that could be toasted, a bottle of apple juice and a bottle of milk. For $100, per night per room I feel this is unacceptable!!!

Basic This little hotel was a bit tattered and torn, but the bed was comfy, which is important. The shower floor creaked rather ominously (second story). It seemed clean, but not real sure of the carpet - didn't want to get down there and check it out. There was just a tiny bottle of shampoo, no conditioner, and no liquid soap - just the tiny bars. We were just passing through, so it worked for us. Breakfast was pretty limited, so we didn't partake. Handy to have a washer and dryer if needed. Ice machine in same building as laundry. Basically, this property needs some TLC. Folks running it were very kind and welcoming. Air conditioner was very noisy.

Very kind and accommodating! The family that owns this establishment it’s extremely attentive and caring. The night of the eclipse, our party was frantically searching for lodging, and due to a cancellation, this establishment was able to fit us in! They found rooms and beds for all of us and the cleaning staff were very thorough and were able to clean the rooms on short notice. The owner consistently checked with us on the quality of our stay and the courtyard featured a grill for the guests!

Colorado Trip My fiancé and I stay at the econolodge in Cortez, Co. And we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and and kind. I highly recommend anyone stay there if they’re looking for a nice place to stay and sleep!

Mr. This place is disgusting ! NOT CLEAN. The bathtub had guch all over it. I asked management about it and the owner just schroud his shoulder. The headboards on each bed had gummy hand prints all over it. The breakfeast was a real joke. Coffee, and pieces of bread and that's about it. You would think Choice hotels would have standards, but they haven't checked this place in a while. Folks from other countries were running this hotel. HORRIBLE even for $80.
