Diamond in the rough Had a lovely time stopping by on our way to denver, everything you could need is within walking distance from a local grocery store, select restaurants, and dispensaries. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the stay and questions we had about the area, loved it!

Horrible experience all around We got here at 2:45 and they would not check us in. The guy at the front desk said 3:00 check in time. While we were waiting to check in, the Orkin bug man was in and out. Not sure what he was spraying for. We get to our room and our toilet was leaking slightly on the floor. The bathroom smelled of straight mold and mildew. 8:00pm we go to shower and we have no water. Went to the front desk and the guy said they had to turn the water off due to a leak. He waved us away with his hand and said it should be back on within an hour. I travel a lot and this has by far been the worst hotel I have stayed at. Plus the front desk guy was extremely rude both times~ at check in and with the no water. Horrible. Do not stay here.

❤️Super 8 Team - Cortez Staying here has always been a safe, affordable, convenient, choice. The family that operates the Cortez Super 8 are wonderful and amazing. They are considered family now You have been there time and time again for us ❤️. Everyone here goes above and beyond! Thank You again!

Awesome! Very clean and quiet! Very helpful and kind front desk clerk! Check in was quite easy as we arrived at 10 pm. My request for handicap was fulfilled without any hassle! Great experience! I would call them to stay again on Cortez Co. Very respectable customer service team.

Stay away! I was extremely disappointed in our stay there. First off they charged me extra for a downstairs room because I have a wheelchair they have no elevator and I couldn't get upstairs. I was unbelievably surprised when they asked me for extra money $11 for having to accommodate my wheelchair being able to be let in. At that I had to enter a back way. Going in was extremely bumpy in my wheelchair. Also the hallway smelt horrific, I can't even explain the order. We got into our room there are some trash still out, the window would not lock so we improvised and put something in the way to block the window from being open from the outside. We've seen in a few of these types of Hotel throughout our cross country journey and we have decided that we will never be stopping at these kind of hotels again. Never have I been charged extra because of my disability of being able to walk upstairs and them having to accommodate a wheelchaired person downstairs.
