Best Hampton Inn I've stayed in This was my 2nd visit to this H.I. for the Empire State games and it was a real home away from home., Super breakfast choices and quality. Big room with lots of amenities - but mostly a staff that really takes pride in the place. And I stay in Hampton Inns all over for pickleball tournaments and the "karma" here is just better!

Beware - don't stay here I will never stay at this hotel again. It was old and dirty. Nothing was updated. For our entire stay, one of the 2 elevators was broken. At one point both elevators were broken and we had to walk up 6 flights of stairs with my disabled child. The breakfast served was awful and blackened bananas were served. The back of my remote control was broken and reported it to get a replacement but never got one. First and last time I will ever stay there and would not recommend it. I called corporate to report all this and they contacted the hotel and the manager basically said that it was all lies. The manager has no customer service skills at all.

Staff made up for other shortcomings. Convenient to highway and downtown. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the standard hotel free breakfast - ok but nothing special. The coffee was good and available all day by front desk. I booked 2 rooms, they could have been cleaner (one room had some paper and an old sock left in the corner & hairs in the shower), another room had some paper scraps that should have been vacuumed if a good cleaning had been done. The third room booked by my daughter had a mal-functioning toilet that despite 2 or 3 attempts by maintenance could not be fixed. After 2 nights there it was still not operating properly when they checked out.

Clean, Quiet & Comfortable! This was what you expect from a Hampton Inn. I don’t believe I have ever had a bad experience at one. This one had plenty of parking and even if pulling a trailer they had the room to park. Clean, quiet and comfortable! It is tucked back off the interstate and just a few minutes from the downtown area of Cortland. Plenty of restaurants nearby or within a couple miles

Got Robbed I booked unintentionally through a third party booker that fronts as Hampton inn. They bury a non refundable clause in the fine print. When calling Hampton they were unwilling to help me navigate a solution with this overpriced third party booker. They essentially said my problem not theirs. This makes them complicit in this third party scheme. Their corporate customer service was less helpful than the location. Stay away These people are crooks.
