Clean and Suitable Although the hotel is next to the interstate, the HVAC is able to provide a fan or white noise sound that allows it to overcome the competing noise for a good sleep. Just a couple petty drawbacks I didn't appreciate. The soda machine was out of diet cokes for the couple nights of my stay (however, they provide a large fridge in the room and if the machine held the desired bottled soda it would have only been $1.25). The TV in the breakfast room was set on FoxNews and I think a less partisan channel would allow for a more relaxed meal.

Nice hotel, but NOISY. This is a decent hotel, clean, good staff. But the building needs renovating. The windows do not do a good job of blocking the outside noise... and the outside noise is significant. Lots of heavy trucks going up and down the road at all hours of the night. And yes the internet service is pretty poor.

Poor stay at Holiday Inn Exp. Covington, VA This Holiday Inn Express receives a poor rating from me. I have stayed at a lot of HIE in the South and South East. It is in need of some TLC. To start with we had a double bed rental. One of the beds had been made with dirty sheets...Nasty! The pillows were flat as a pancake. One of the bars of soap had been opened and placed back into the plastic container to appear new...Nasty!

Another great HIE Perfect location along I-64, quiet, clean. Nice breakfast spread. Indoor pool, even though I didn't use it. It appeared to be clean and cared for. Awesome staff, especially Dreama at the front desk. Plenty of parking. Good choice for a stay in Covington.

Good Hotel, SLOW Internet The hotel is a typical Holiday Inn Express. It is clean and comfortable, with a free breakfast. Our room had a big comfy chair for sitting and reading. There was also a refrigerator. There is plenty of counter space in the bathroom - lack of counter space is one of my pet peeves. The staff were friendly and seemed efficient. My one quibble is the internet. It took forever to sign on, and then would cut out for no apparent reason. It was so slow that I couldn't use several apps on my iPad.
