Tips to making it a good experience! Was livid and disappointed at first! We had a room which is located on the first floor, couldn't even sleep I was so angry.... BUT I found out in the morning after complaining that they had modern updated rooms on the higher floors. They were willing to switch our rooms at no additional cost. Customer service was actually descent, they rectified the matter and I was much happier. (Really liked Yessenia, very nice young lady). This could be a good experience if you are looking more for peace and quiet and a bit of seclusion. It's a little busier on the weekend but during the week it's quiet and peaceful. They do have a operational bar and restaurant so that's a plus. If you just want to get away and relax without the frills and fluff it's the place. Overall once my room was switched I had a good time staying there. (Just remember mind set from country to country is very different- so I was bewildered when they gave us the rooms, but we had king rooms and they are only located on the first floor)

A very old hotel with bad service and dirty The hotel is located far away from downtown cuernavaca and they have not keep the hotel in well conditions. The rooms in general lack the normal conditions you would expect in a hotel. The carpet has burn mark from an iron. The beds have never been changed in probably 40 years. The bathroom is missing parts. Overall it was a huge mistake staying at this hotel.

Very disgusting hotel facilities Well, we were making a 1 night stop in Cuernavaca in our way to Acapulco and decided to make a reservation in this hotel, which looked magnificent in hotels.com. After a lot of time spent in the streets trying to find it out, we finally did. Here it goes my opinion about this hotel: * Entrance: Dark and old. * Desk: So old fashioned, since the upstairs to the front desk. It looks like a Motel. * Halls: Old tiles * Rooms: Gosh! we booked two rooms. Both of them smelled to insecticide (likely it would be there fleas inside the bed). Old beds, old rugs, old windows and 5 roaches in the first room! It was terrible to see three roaches next to the wc, one under the shower and one in front of the door. * We preferred not to verify the second room. We went back to the front desk and notified this, they said that ot couldn't be possible. Actually they sent a maintenance guy to the room and he didn't come back. They just said that they were sorry and that more rooms were available upstaris. We didn't want to stay there anymore. At the end we moved to the holiday inn, where a world of difference was between.

Don't even dare to consider it It was very difficult to find and when we finally got there, it looked like a very old hospital or something. The reception and front desk were ok, but that was the only thing ok. The building was old, dirty, smelly, the staff is unfriendly and the music in the pool was the kind of drug dealers must like. There was no air conditioning and the telephone was and old 70's disc phone that wouldn't even work. By the time we went out of there (we didn't even stay more than 30 minutes), there were 5 more families asking for a refund at the front desk.
