I doubt you will publish this. The hotel is overpriced for the location in downtown Cumberland, MD. The hotel is in much need of a refresh or upgrade. Cell service was spotty.

Dont. This is not a safe place to stay. Parking lot feels sketchy and there were people who seemed to be watching it. Made comments on our cars and after midnight when we were walking back ftom hanging out downtown, there were people just hanging around the lot. Probably nothing but then you look up the crime stats for the area, and there seems to be cause for concern. Also, there were police in the lobby who were called for a room break-in. Location is great because it's a short 5 min walk to downtown but still not worth it. Very cool downtown but pick someplace else farther from it to stay. Price is right. But unfortunately, you get what you pay for on this one.

Don't. Just don't. I booked this hotel through Booking.com. When I saw the hotel room, I realized that it was not going to work for my family. I cancelled my reservation through Booking.com and returned my key card. I did this knowing that I would be charged the first night. Live and learn. It is not a good place. The management refused to acknowledge my cancellation. I was charged the $87 cancellation fee, but also the full six nights as if I had stayed. Booking.com made multiple attempts to reach the manager, each of which was documented by email. I finally received a response from the manager after contacting Ramada Inn's 800 number and the Better Business Bureau. This is what I received from the manager: "we never charge 1000$ as you claim. we never promise that you will get refund. we kept your room for all 6 days so we will keep charges. we have not offered pool on this facility from 10 years. this is not swimming pool facility we charge for room not pool. no refund will allowed. if we told you get refund that we will approved that. if you decide to rent room two hotel it is your decision not our. sorry we will not refund anything. Kp" It has been a week, hours of phone calls, and frustration. I'm not giving up though. The charges are not compliant with my original agreement. Stay instead in LaVale at Braddock Inn. I highly recommend this hotel for the same price range.

Smelled like pee and smoke, dirty, not a great experience Everyone that worked there was absolutely friendly and fantastic, especially the gentleman that worked at the breakfast area but the hotel was not maintained, it leaked of stale smoke or pee in the lobby. I figured that was just the lobby and my room was going to be fine but the room was dirty, it smelled horrible (so much so that my five-year-old said it smelled like pee) and we all woke up with sore throats from a never cleaned air conditioner. I was told there is no maintenance person so most things were broken needing repair. I chose this hotel because even though it was $40 more than the one I was interested in, it looked to be better maintained and cleaner from the pictures. I was sorely wrong and will never stay again. The breakfast was nice but if it was open until 1000, and/or still had coffee available, that would have been ideal. This hotel was definitely a 1 star. I would never pay over $50 for a hotel like this and would never stay in a hotel like this again. The bed was very uncomfortable and old. I could feel the springs through the mattress. It was a horrible sleep.

Scam We made a reservation for the Great Race. One of our team fell ill and I tried to cancel 5 days out .the person who took my call said it was the Manager’s policy not to give refunds. When I asked for the manager he said he did not know his extension and hung up on me. WHAT A SCAM!!!
