NO AC-LOUD AS RATCHET PLACE Do yourself a favor and spend a little bit more on a better hotel. Terrible AC! I had one late check in throughout the entire MONTH and they kicked me out and would not let me rebook. You have people fighting and screaming with each other in their rooms and music in others all night and they don't care. Don't put a deposit down because you won't get it back.. but its a forced deposit. SPEND THE 30$ EXTRA MONEY FOR A DECENT PLACE. This place ruined my trip

Overnight in Dallas We chose the property for it's location to Lawry's Prime Rib. I must say that the property has seen better days. The lobby was dismal at best. I did reserve judgement for the room... It was clean and updated. I will nt stay there again.

Worst IHG Room Ever I have stayed in many IHG properties, including Candlewood Suites, and they have always been good. This room was an embarrassment to the company! The experience started with the check-in where we were processed by a very sharp young lady. Full disclosure, I was somewhat surprised I was not given an upgrade due to my Rewards standing but, it was a reward night. When the elevator door opened, it squeaked so badly we were apprehensive about getting in. We did make it to the third floor and our room appeared to be fine. BUT, the first issue arose when the remote would not turn on the TV. I finally got it to light up by using the power button on the set. The remote would only move the channels up, not down and although the closed captions showed on, they did not work. When my wife got out of the shower, she told me it was the slowest draining tub she had ever seen. When I got in later, I had to remove the stopper completely in order to get it to drain. The control for the sink stopper WOULD NOT WORK and I had to push it all the way down. Then, I could not get it open and my shaving cream residue stayed in the sink after I pried the stopper enough to get it to slowly drain. When I got in the shower, I discovered the shampoo and the conditioner containers WERE EMPTY! I related all these issues to the desk person when I checked out but I am not confident she was concerned at all! Although I used reward points for this room, I WASTED THEM!

Not the same as we remembered We’ve stayed here in the past and this time around, we were a little disappointed. The staff are awesome, friendly and sincere. The value was good. The location is perfect, right next to LBJ as well as the Dallas North Tollway. The amenities in our room was where it started to disappoint. The dinnerware wasn’t complete so we had to make due with some creative settings to allow enough plates and bowls for two people to have a meal. We reserved a king room and was surprised by a double/full bed instead. It was warm when we visited so we had the AC going. It didn’t have a constant fan setting so the AC kept cycling on and off all night which meant that it cycled from cold to stuffy all night. All in all, we didn’t really have restful sleep the two nights we were here. Sad to say, We’ve taken this property of off our Addison list of places to stay.
