Terrible Reserved a room for 62 days. Arrived and they didn't have a room for me. Then they charged me for canceling my 2nd reservation. The manager OJ claims he's trying to get me a refund but he's obviously just trying to get rid of me. He's been promising me an email all week. Said he couldn't send an email because it's raining. Lol. Terrible company.

HORRIBLE No rooms available when I arrived to check in for my one week reservation. They charged my credit card anyways. Nobody answers the phone when Priceline calls, so I am unable to get a refund still. I will never book with this hotel again.

It beats sleeping under a bridge Tomorrow my 62-day stay at this property comes to an end. I was really satisfied at an ESA in Maryland and booked my reservation in Dallas with that satisfaction in mind. It's really been eye-opening at how different 2 hotels with the same name on the door can be. This room was not cleaned prior to my check-in and it has not been cleaned during the entirety of my stay. The card keys that ESA uses are really flaky, prone to demagnetizing. That is only an irritant if you can go to the desk and get the key reprogrammed. If, like the Vantage Point property, the office is locked during what are ostensibly business hours then you just cannot get into your room. I have no complaints about any specific employee of this business. The problem is that there are not enough of them. The owners of the business will not hire enough people to run this property, which consists of 3 aging buildings and equally decrepit laundry machines, etc. Things are going to break, and that means that the lobby has to be locked while the lone employee attends to the problem du jour. The management here is atrocious. I'm told that the owners have only had this business for a few months. If so, maybe it will improve in future. But for now, stay away. P.S. Question below: "Do you know if this hotel had doctors on-call 24/7?" Hilarious.

Providing detail on stock review questions I think these stock questions leave a lot unsaid. Attempting to remedy that here. Q1: Does this hotel have laundry service? A1: They have self-service laundry (coin operated machines). Good thing because this "extended stay" hotel hasn't changed my bedding / towels in the 7 weeks I've been there. Just be aware the self-service adds to the total cost of residency. Q2: Does this hotel have a fitness center? A2: Yes, but it is closed. Like the coffee service in the lobby it is a victim of COVID-19. Or so we're told. Q3: Sleep Quality A3: I'm rating this low, but it is not directly the fault of hotel mgmt., but rather a couple of guests with ongoing car alarm problems. A result of having an impoverished clientele. Q4: How expensive is this hotel? A4: Lower than Budget. Sub-budget.

This property is on lockdown Six weeks in at this property. (That's 6 weeks with no housekeeping of any kind, but that's another post.) The owner of this property has it on lockdown: private security, parking lot blocked to prevent ingress/egress, and a 10:00PM curfew. Yes, a curfew! A woman working the front desk here (despite the posted office hours the office may or may not be open to customers at any given time) said that this property has been under new ownership for several months. I don't know if the new owners planned this, if it was the frequent visits by police, or maybe it was that gun fire was heard once too often. Anyway, no information is communicated that would guide residents on the new protocol. Is there a certain time that the parking lot is to be blocked? Certain days of the week? Can you appeal to some authority if you have to go to work, or have an emergency that may require your car to exit the parking lot? We're not told anything. I wouldn't leave a zero-star review because it doesn't actually rain on me in my room and the climate control works, but a one-star review is justified.
