Good hotel at a very low price I can't speak for everyone else's review, but I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The room was very clean and the furniture and bed were clearly new. The price was very low, so I expected a traditional "budget" hotel experience, but the Royal Inn was way above my expectations. The only slight negative was that we could hear doors near us closing loudly while we were in the room. If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel in Dallas and are okay with a little noise, I definitely recommend this hotel.

I noticed 2 hookers trolling the building parking lot There were horsefiles in my room, i had to kill several, and I drove a few out the door. The bed was nice, the decor was indian style, not great, there were stains on the walls, carpet was terrible, AC worked pretty good. This is a seedy hotel. The tv was really bad, very fuzzy, just home shopping network and junk like that. Recommend you pass on this place, it was not worth the money i paid. I think the owners are indian, which means low quality all-around.

Pretty Seedy My friend, her daughter and I stayed here one night to go out and to a rangers game. My friend booked the hotel so it wasn’t my decision. I had no idea what kind of place it was. There were a lot of seedy looking people, men catcalling and women clearly altered stumbling down the stairs in their hooker hills. Legitimately the only thing I can say positive was the beds were pretty comfortable, if you don’t mind sleeping under ripped sheets and thin comforters with cigarette burns and lube stains on them. One outlet worked in the room, fridge and microwave in room but neither worked. Hair on towels and floor and bathtub. I am pretty easy going about hotels typically but this place was too shady for me. We did stay the night but did not feel safe as three women. Would not stay here again nor recommend unless you are looking for something extra curricular.

Probably not even for backpackers Positive: price Negatives: needs to be refurbished, dirty, surroundings is not safe at night and is very noisy I can not recommend the hotel to anyone, the only positive thing of the location is a restaurant on the oposite side of the road where you can get a decent meal.

Absolute bottom of the barrel Wow. Wow, wow, wow. This is not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but it is a contender. Sign in car park warns against drug dealing and prostitution. Pulled in at night and the place was crawling with shady characters. Felt immediately unsafe. Reception was services through a glass pane like gas stations late at night as a security measure. This compounded the fear factor. Room door had dents in it as it it had been hit repeatedly with a blunt object. Room was reasonably clean but there were cigarette burns everywhere including the Formica sink top and the bed sheets! There was lipstick scrawled at one corner of the mirror - couldn't they clean this? Probably missed it. Toilet roll holder broken and shower soap dish broken off altogether. Towels paper thin. Saw one cockroach. Turned TV on and there was porn on straight away, obviously from the previous occupant. Seedy!!!!! What transpires in this room before is I could only imagine. Actually spent the night anyway as it was late. Worried about flea infestation but it was ok in the end. Hot up several times in the night to check on the car but it was ok. Had 2 nights booked but checked out next day. Absolutely dire. But dirt cheap. Hey if you need a quick few hours with a hooker then this is the place for you. Otherwise, spend a bit more and go somewhere else.
