Enjoyed our stay My son and I were only here for one night so our experience is limited. I haven't stayed in a Hampton Inn for a long time so I don't know what other properties look like. I thought our room (top floor, even side) looks great and doesn't appear dated to me at all. Even side looks out to the front parking lot, not much of a view but fairly quiet as it is set back from the main road. Check-in on the app was easy and I picked our room ahead of time. I stopped at front desk to request additional room key cards, and was not offered the free bag of water/snacks until I asked (I'm have Gold Hilton Honors). But otherwise front desk staff is friendly with a smile. Room has black-out shades which work great. There is a mini-fridge and coffee maker in our room but no microwave. Hallway noise minimal. We did not use the pool. Breakfast area is busy as there was a youth swim team staying there over the weekend, but the breakfast space is large enough and staff was able to keep up with the foods. There are a number of restaurants nearby, and 2 of them are an easy walk across the parking lot (Chipotle and Chili's).

Needs an update We were on our way to Florida from Maine and needed a clean safe spot to stay the night. Stayed here based on reviews. This Hampton Inn needs an update badly. Will not stay here again. Furniture looked like it was from 1980. Room needed a refresh.

Spotless but Dated Very good but dated Hampton Inn, The public areas seem to have all been updated and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking right off of I84 with many food and shopping options within a 30 second drive. During my two stays the rooms have been spotless just dated. Hopefully will get the “Hampton refresh” of stall showers and new furnishings in the near future,

Room needs remodeled When you walk into this hotel it’s very nice & updated, unfortunately the room was not. Our King suite was roomy and the bed was comfortable however there were several areas that were in disrepair. Where the shower curtain bar was connected to the wall it was pieced together. There were several areas where the wallpaper was ripped or sagging. Also this was the second hilton property where there wasn’t a microwave in the room! The breakfast area was updated also but attendants weren’t very attentive to cleaning tables after they were vacated. There also wasn’t any hand sanitizer anywhere. There was a sink to wash your hands but there wasn’t any soap in the soap dispenser!! As far as the food provided it’s the same old same old. During our trip so far we stayed at a couple Best Westerns and their breakfast food was better.

The desk people were great, but the room, not so much We were on a trip heading north and stayed at the Hampton Inn in Danbury one night on the way up and then again on the way back home. The first night was okay, but the night we spent on the return trip was terrible. We had brought our dog with us both times, and on the return trip we were assigned a room (Room 105) that smelled strongly of dog urine. The smell was emanating from the rug, and our dog was constantly distracted and sniffing the rug. It was disgusting. (Note: The cleaning lady's job on the room was excellent.)
