Excellent beachfront hotel Daily happy hour and really enjoyed the balconies (minus neighbors that ignored the no smoking signs-which was not the hotels fault). The only real negative of the hotel is that they only have two elevators and it could take a long time to get an elevator. Otherwise, great experience.

Gem on the beach Been going here for years, great place, great service. The staff is amazing. The hotel is kept very clean. Housekeeping is very attentive to detail when needed. Even with a very large group staying there, they never skipped a beat on service. highly recommend.

WE LOVED THIS HOTEL! Definitely recommend. The staff was great and the hotel was CLEAN! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY! We had an oceanfront family room with two queen beds & a kitchenette. PROS: The property is VERY CLEAN! The staff is very helpful & friendly. The parking under the hotel was great to keep our vehicle from baking in the sun. The property is RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pool isn't huge, but it was perfect. There are lounge chairs & umbrellas with regular tables. There is a shower directly off the beach to rinse off & a shower near the hot tub. The pool closes at 10:00 pm, which we loved, so it wasn't loud in the evening. The continental breakfast is limited to fresh fruit (bananas/oranges), bagels, muffins, danish, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk, juices, coffee & pancakes. There are plenty of condiments for the bagels - jelly, peanut butter, butter, etc. The hotel offers a happy hour every evening with complimentary beer and wine, and a couple of mixed drink selections. CONS: The pillows were horrible. It's the ONLY complaint we had. They were SO BAD that it felt like you were sleeping on a pile of rocks. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW! OTHER INFO: There are pool towels provided, but they are just that - small pool towels. If you want a large fluffy beach towel, bring your own. As mentioned, bring your own pillow. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel (which we liked), but our room had a full size refrigerator, so we stocked up on what we needed. Restaurants were close and convenient. If you love a full hot breakfast, DAYTONA DINER is excellent and very close to the hotel. Grocery stores are close. We had a car so it was perfect. We absolutely loved this hotel and the location. It was also only less than 20 minutes from the airport.

Very nice hotel but need to keep the pool area open past 10PM! Really enjoyed our stay at the Bahama House the rooms are very nice, property is well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast was nice to have each morning, and the cocktail hour was amazing. The water pressure in the shower needs attention my family had three rooms, and all rooms had the same issue. The worst thing about the hotel is the pool area closes at 10 PM which eliminates the beach access from the hotel and ability to enjoy time with family. I understand closing the pool at 10 PM but not the entire pool area.
