Had a blast in Deadwood! Charlotte, at the front desk, greeted us warmly during our late night check-in. Her continued hospitality throughout our stay made it special. Breakfast was delish, the rooms were very comfortable. We stepped out of our hotel right into the action, caught the show of “Wild Bill Hickok’s demise.” So glad Deadwood was part of our trip to South Dakota!

I would expect more from a chain brand First the good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast was pretty basic, even for a Holiday Inn Express. The ice machine was broken, so no ice. There was a temporary ac (portable) in our room, which made it difficult to even get to one side of the bed. There was a bobby pin in the bathroom floor...I do not use these, so clearly it made me question the overall cleanliness. Carpets need replaced.

Our Go-To Hotel in Deadwood We love staying at this hotel. Its an older hotel that has been nicely remodeled and you can't beat the location - dead center in the middle of downtown where all the action is and even has staged gunfights on Main Street right outside the hotel. The front desk staff was exceptional, the rooms were nice and clean, the free breakfast was adequate and we took full advantage of the large pool area with whirlpool hot tub. Free parking was only a short block and a half walk to their private parking lot. We have always stayed at this hotel on our visits to Deadwood and highly recommend it.

Friendliest staff in Deadwood Stayed here for Wild Bill Days and our entire stay was perfect! The staff is so friendly! Our bed was so comfy that my husband was searching for the matress name so we could buy one for home. The breakfast area is large and clean and food was fresh and good. Despite the hotel being full it was quiet. Best location in Deadwood. Parking is the only challenge here is you have to walk a couple blocks to get your car but it is expected in Deadwood so plan ahead. We will be back!

Perfect walking location in Deadwood Hotel very clean, friendly staff and free parking (at different location but not far from hotel). The bed was comfortable. Room was large, bathroom clean and good size too. Hotel has great location, in middle of main downtown area, several restaurants and bars close by.
