I thought it was a great place until The room looked clean, and the location was great, but in the morning, I saw a couple of cockroaches both in the bathroom and around the sink. I also see by the advertised prices that I paid about $50 more than they have advertised. Buyer beware!

The price was high, but at least we were uncomfortable..... My family all returned home for my mother's funeral in St. Johns. We reserved several rooms for one or two nights, depending on the family. There was a terrible smell in the rooms, maybe the cleaning solution? The door of the wardrobe was broken and to the side in one sister's room. She also killed a cockroach by the room door. There was little to no breakfast left by the time we arrived the next morning. Do you not count the number of guests before making breakfast for them? It's sad when I remember what a beautiful hotel it was 20 years ago. This place needs a LOT of TLC before I'd consider returning.

OK for one night This was a two story hotel and I had requested a top floor room, but we were given a first floor room near the dining area. We had to request a new room because the door would not close properly or lock. The second room was fine, but the bed was too firm for me. It was quiet. The temperature was a little hard to regulate on the window unit. A sheet and comforter was on the bed so it was hard to keep comfortable because it was a little too warm even with the heat turned down. The room was sufficient, king bed, microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Shower took a little bit to warm up, and the pressure was a little light, but it was ok. The breakfast was standard breakfast fare. Like the 24 hour coffee station. It was ok for one night.

Inexpensive but disappointing This hotel is a fairly nice, fairly cheap hotel that leaves a lot to be desired. It has no rooms with two queen beds. Two doubles is the best that you can get so my feet were left hanging over the end of the bed. There is no closet or clothes hanging facility in the room other than a small freestanding wardrobe. It is one of those types of hotel rooms where the sink is out in the actual room and only the toilet and shower are separated off by a sliding door. There is no tub, only a small stand up shower maybe 3 ft by 3 ft in size. This is a good hotel for construction workers and I noticed a lot of work trucks in the parking lot. There is a outdoor pool which is nice but it is outdoors in Michigan which means only a couple of months use. In November the pool is closed. There is no fitness room but there was mention of hotel guests being able to use a nearby gym. That agreement went out the door with covid and has not come back so there is no ability to work out anywhere close. The hotel does not have a fitness room.
