Hampton Inn and Suites Dobson

Lovely, clean hotel I've stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times now and each time it has been great. This was my first time since the renovations and the end result is lovely. The staff was friendly and having a wine bar to enjoy an evening drink was a nice touch. We will visit again.

No renovation problems nice stay Clean and new. The renovation is basically over with the exception of the final delivery of lobby furniture and the wine bar was still closed when we were there. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The breakfast was outstanding plus has a long schedule of 6 to 10.

Luxury in Dobson! This was probably one of the most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed in! Nice king suite with plenty of room, tv area, work desk, soaking tub, double vanity, wet bar,etc. If you really wanted to splurge, you can lounge in a nice cotton bath towel, slippers and drink a bottle of wine! Once the renovations get done, the pool and breakfast areas will be available. Though I thought the price was a bit high for not having some of these amenities, the staff was friendly and responsive. Plus the location was minutes from Shelton Vineyards, so it worked well for us.

Great stop over spot - newly renovated! The hotel is nearing the end of extensive renovations. The main lobby was closed and the temporary entrance was well marked. Cara at reception was very personable and welcoming. The room was brand new and lovely. Cara checked via text that we were happy with the room and offered help if we needed anything. Bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Loved the in-room toiletries - lightly scented and be good quality. The small breakfast offering and fresh hot coffee were ready by 5:30 am when we were leaving. Definitely a great stop over spot with friendly staff and lovely newly renovated rooms. Suggestions - which relate to corporate design standards: - the beautiful new bathrooms have very poor lighting over the vanity - the bed has been placed at a 90 degree angle to the TV. This is the third hotel where we have stayed and the bed is rotated to face the window. I’m sure there is a reason however it makes it somewhat uncomfortable to watch tv from bed.

Great place to stay We were created by Cara, she is an amazing person with a great personality. We stop here evertime we pass though and the remodel looks beautiful, can't wait for it to be finished. Having a winery on site is a added little bonus, sure do miss Janis
